Topic: Join us for an evening of information and entertainment as Chris and Kris speak on the work of the Winnipeg Ghostbusters who raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba and other charities in Manitoba.

Speakers: Winnipeg Ghostbusters, Co-founders, Chris Reid and Kris Rutherford
Doors open: 5:30pm

A short program of music, singing, and the all-popular dancing around the Christmas tree will begin around 12:30 p.m. *Coralie Bryant will be playing the piano.

Hello! Bonjour!

December celebrations are just around the corner and our turkey packages are back again this year for the holiday season -- and available in three different size options. Pick-up will be in the afternoon on Tuesday, December 24th.

Please see attached the info card for details of this year's packages; also available on our website. The fresh prepared items include carved turkey, our signature stuffing, pan gravy and house recipe cranberry sauce, packaged, ready to heat and serve at your special feast.

Place your order by 4 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024 by email at [email protected] or by calling us at 204-793-5368. Tell us what package size you wish to order and your contact information. We will confirm by email your order details within 48 hours and provide payment information.

The 🌲Christmas season is fast approaching and with it, the Scandinavian Canadian Choir annual Christmas concert.

Please join us on Monday, December 9th for a festive musical presentation, light lunch and silent auction.

The Lutefisk Murder' play debuts at Lutefisk & Meatball Dinner Nov. 2!!

If you’ve been waiting for your annual dose of lutefisk, the time is near!

The Norwegian Canadian Club will host its Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner at the Scandinavian Centre, Saturday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.)

The smorgasbord features the real deal from salads to dessert, coffee and tea, lefse and meatballs, and, of course, delectably prepared lutefisk!

Cost is $35.00 per person; you pay at the door by cash, card, or cheque. Cash bar will be available.

And new this year, the popular event will act as a stage to unveil an original play – “The Lutefisk Murder" – between dinner and dessert. In more entertainment, from 5:30 to 6 p.m., the Sill-i-tones return to perform Nordic folk music. There'll also be a gift raffle.
