Hello! We are looking to see if anyone would be interested, or know someone who would be interested in renting our farmhouse.

It is a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom. The price is 1600$, plus hydro. We would pay propane. The property is on site of our theatre, so the address is 18 McQuay Rd.

References are required.

It is important to note, while we are using our page to advertise the house, renting this home will not impact/affect any of upcoming, or future events here at the Stone Blade Theatre! We are business as usual. We are just looking to see if any folks may be interested in renting out the place we have on the same property.

The designs for our upcoming introductory stained glass class! There are still spots available for the first three weekends, the last is filled. Please see our previous post if you are interested in signing up! First class is next weekend, May 31st-June 1st, 12-4pm.

Thank you for all of your feedback on our previous post!

We will be hosting a series of four beginner stained glass classes, from the end of May to mid July. They will be held every second weekend.

May 31st & June 1st *sold out*
June 14th & 15th *1 spot left*
June 28th & 29th *sold out*
July 12th & 13th *1 spot left*

The classes will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 12-4pm both days. At 12pm we will be begin with lunch (included in the class fee) and itinerary for the class/day. At 12:30pm class will begin.

There will be 4-5 designs for you to choose from, including some floral designs, animals, scenery, etc.

The cost is 125$ per person, for the weekend. There is a max of 10 people per class and a 25$ deposit is required to secure your spot, with the rest to be paid a week before your class date.

We aimed to keep costs low, and while this class is still below other classes out there, we do understand that this is still quite costly. Unfortunately, while stained glass is a beautiful art form, it is definitely quite an expensive craft!

Looking to get in touch with your creative side, and try something new this summer?

We are looking at the idea of hosting a few beginner stained glass classes, and want to hear from you lovely people!

The idea is, Stone Blade’s own Dia Spafford would host a beginner level stained glass class in our beautiful art studio, above the theatre. There would be 3-5 small, easy designs for you to choose from, and over the course of the day, or weekend, you would complete and take your piece home!

Everything would be provided, and you would not need any prior experience with stained glass to join!

Ideally we would aim to host a class in June or July.

We would love for anyone who might be interested to reach out, either through the comments or through messages!

Today’s the day! Come down to the Stone Blade Theatre for our wine and cheese party to celebrate spring and talk about our newest play!

Despite the rain we’ll be having a BBQ, treats and drinks for the kiddos, tarot card readings, LOTS of wine and cheese (the latter courtesy of Wilton’s cheese) and we have a big wood stove and lots of space to keep everyone cozy.

1-4pm at 18 McQuay Rd, hope to see you there!
