Production day of Tourtiere meat pies at In Good Taste today, these are a French delicacy meat and potato pie that is usually served with a mushroom gravy.

We make and pack these under private label for a company that distributes them throughout Saskatchewan in the retail and food service industry.

Yesterday was a great day.

We didn’t get many pictures of the crowd of over 250 people, but sharing a few of the site and cooking we did with smokerbroker on the Yoder Smokers.
Many thanks to everyone that helped out with the cooking, it’s always a fun group to work with.

Many dollars were raised for the Duck Mountain Ski Area through this Revitalization event, good job by everyone involved to make it a success.

Just a heads up. Dinner tickets for the upcoming fundraiser are officially SOLD OUT.

That being said, doesn’t mean you can’t come out and enjoy the LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, DRINKS, RAFFLES and LIVE AUCTION.

A great fundraising event at the Duck Mountain Ski Hill next Saturday September 21st. Details to purchase a ticket are on the poster.

Along with the Shishliki supper we will be serving there will be a live band, bar and some great auction items as part of the event as well.

This event is being put on by The Duck Winter Sport Fundation, a new and energetic group that will help raise funds to keep our local ski hill going.

We had a fun evening serving out supper for a new bride and groom on their wedding day.

We were in familiar territory at Madge Lake in the Rec Hall. They had a great set up with a tent rented from Parkland Tent And Event Rentals set up in the parking lot and serving supper out of the hall.

This was a larger menu supper with lots of great options, both traditional and unique for a wedding supper.

All set up and cooking for the Golden Duck tournament at Madge Lake Golf Resort.

We are teaming up with Smoker Broker cooking up Chicken Shishliki and Tri Tip Tacos on the Yoder Smokers. We are giving away these as samplers to the all the golfers coming around on hole 15.
It’s gonna be a fun day!!

We had a busy weekend at In Good Taste and had to split up into two crews. We would like to thank everyone that came and worked with us this weekend and made both events run smoothly with lots of great food served out.
We got lots of pictures of our crew working at Ukrainian Fest at Dauphin the whole weekend, but not of our crew that catered a 300 person wedding at Grayson, Sk. on Saturday night, but did get a picture of the brisket that was served out.😂

We even ran into a few hockey celebrities at these events.

Come get your Ukrainian Platter from us today at the Selo Hall on site at Ukrainian Fest in Dauphin.
We open at 12:00pm and will be ready to serve up your platter for lunch and the rest of the day.
We have added in some traditional Ukrainian decorating to the front of our booth this year, come check it out!!

We have been busy making Kolach (braided bread) we will be serving on our Ukrainian Platter at Canada's National Ukrainian Festival happening this upcoming weekend August 2-4 at Dauphin, Mb.

Along with a slice of this traditional Ukrainian bread there will be perogies, cabbage rolls, locally made Farmers Sausage and Coleslaw on the platter.

Experimented injecting a tri tip roast and cooking it on the Yoder Smoker with plans to have on the menu in future catering suppers.
Not much left to be done, this one turned out great!!

We catered a Smoked Rib supper for the Parkway Coop staff appreciation event today at Asessippi Beach and Campground.
They had a great set up with a band playing and some nice tents rented from Parkland Tent And Event Rentals for this event.
