Sometimes, the most beautiful locations require a little more effort than the photos suggest. 🤍

Bachalpsee is one of them - first, the gondola up to Grindelwald First, then about an hour’s hike to the lake, with altitude and elevation changes along the way. It’s something I always discuss with my clients beforehand, because a dreamy Pinterest location can come with very real logistics and physical challenges.

And this family did amazingly well - parents, kids, and grandma! Everyone came prepared, embraced the adventure, and still had plenty of smiles left for the photos.

A little challenging? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. And I’m so happy that both the experience and the final photos were loved by everyone. 🤍

Friends, I recently discovered private photo locations in the Interlaken region, and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Many people come to Switzerland dreaming of those iconic photos on lush alpine meadows. What most visitors don’t realize is that many of these beautiful fields are private land, so walking on the grass is often not allowed.

That’s why recreating the photos you see online isn’t always as simple as it looks. Usually, you either need to hike high into the mountains or find places where photography on the meadows is officially permitted.

Private locations make all the difference. They allow you to relax, walk barefoot through the grass, sit, run, cuddle with your family, and capture genuine candid moments surrounded by breathtaking Swiss scenery.

They’re especially perfect for family sessions with children, where everyone can simply enjoy the moment - without worrying about disturbing private property or sharing the space with crowds of tourists.

Sometimes the most beautiful photos come not only from the view, but from the peace of mind behind them. ♥️

Sometimes, beauty simply doesn’t need an explanation.

It happens somewhere between the quiet of the lake, the mountains, and a glance that lasts just a little longer than usual.

That day, Lake Brienz became the setting for our little story.

A red boat, flowers, the incredible colour of the water. And two people who look like they stepped out of an old European film. A film where everyone gets to imagine their own ending.

Some shoots end with the last frame. And then there are those you don’t want to come back from for a long time.

This was one of them. 🤍

I don’t get to photograph mothers and daughters very often, and maybe that’s why these sessions always feel a little extra special.

This one came together so effortlessly. A beautiful location, gorgeous light, the easiest atmosphere, and so much joy in the process. Some sessions stay with you long after they’re over, and this was definitely one of them.

For now, I’m sharing these portraits of this beautiful young woman. I love images like these, honest, soft, and full of quiet confidence.

There’s more to come, including some lovely moments we captured together. But those deserve their own moment too. 🤍
