🗣️Piotr Kurek is a Warsaw-based musician, multi-instrumentalist, and composer who creates music centred on the human voice and occasionally composes for film and theatre. Known to work as a solo musician, but also as part of various collaborations, he has released his records on Unsound, Edições CN, Mondoj, Hands In The Dark, Longform Editions, Black Sweat, etc. Drawing on a diversity of approaches and influences, Piotr takes his cues from early and post-medieval composition, baroque, and experimental jazz, blending these influences with traces of contemporary computer music.

🗣️ Yara Asmar .blues is a musician and puppeteer based in Beirut, Lebanon. In her live improvisations and recordings, Yara utilises a range of instruments, including a metallophone and her grandmother's vintage Hohner Marchesa accordion, which she found in the attic of her grandparents' home in Lebanon. Her second album, released via Hive Mind Records, was featured in Pitchfork’s 30 Best Jazz and Experimental Albums of 2023, where it has been described as a transmutation of her instrument’s “droning tones into a sweep of introspective, breath-catching moments of beauty.”

Norbert Möslang operates at the interface between
visual arts and music. He makes use of unused
sounds and uses the laws of physics and electronics to make spaces resound. He became known with with his "cracked everyday-electronics" in the duo "voice crack" until 2002, since then he has been touring solo and with poire_z, king übü örchestrü played with borbetomagus, otomo yoshihide, günter müller, erikm, jérôme noetinger, lionel marchetti, jim o'rourke, kevin drumm, jason kahn, oren ambarchi, tomas korber, keith rowe, I-sound, toshi nakamura, maria, keiichiro shibuya, aube, carlos zingaro, christian weber, florian hecker u.o.
Möslang is internationally regarded as a pioneer of so-called "hardware
hacking". In addition to performances in Japan, Europe, North and South America
he has received several awards for his work as a film composer.

Nik Colk Void

Nik Colk Void is an electronic musician and artist, based in the UK with a vast reputation in experimental shapeshifting and collaboration. Void’s interests lie in the unconventional encounters with her tool, both analogue and digital, as a means of expression. Voice, Guitar, and Modular euro-rack systems are her key instruments engaging in a new language using extended technique and cut-up sampling through synthesis. As a result, the blends of her compositional tracks lean towards techno, club, experimental and noise. Bringing a unique perspective from her background in visual arts, Nik has played a pivotal role as the guitarist and vocalist for Factory Floor, shaping their avant-garde and electronic sound. Collaborations with notable figures like Cosey Fanni Tutti and Peter Rehberg, and visual artists such as Haroon Mirza and Philippe Parreno. Her debut Bucked Up Space was released via Editions Mego in April 2022. Bucked Up Space combines Void’s love of improvisation with the driving force of beat-driven music, drawing from her experiences performing in galleries and clubs across the UK and Europe.

🗣️ Cinna Peyghamy is a composer and sound artist, born in France from Iranian parents. He performs with the tombak, a traditional Persian percussion instrument, augmenting its sonic capabilities with a modular synthesizer merging the distinctions between acoustic and electronic instruments. Cinna's latest album, The Skin In Between, was released by the Tehran-based label Zabte Sote; it explores the possibilities of dialogue between traditional and contemporary elements, investigating the improvisational potential of this hybrid setup and the peculiar sonic entities created by its utilization.

🗣️ Rosso Polare are Cesare Lopopolo and Anna Vezzosi, a contemporary improv duo from Milan, Italy, drawing from their complementary environments (the Italian countryside vs. the city) to create a highly personal musical language merging Mediterranean musical traditions with field recordings and live instruments manipulations. Having their background in visual arts, they work in between human-produced music and natural biophony by making the listener aware of their primordiality to nature. Rosso Polare have released music via Cafe Oto’s in-house label Takuroku, London’s Sagomu and Siberia’s Klammklang.

This work articulates the ambiguity within our bodies paralleled with the present world. An exploration of the beguiling ecstasy effect of loud sound and music. Brightness, rave culture, and youth-oriented culture blend to create music, art and social ideas. Shadow, liminal spaces, global resistance movements, conflicts, skirmishes, the darkness of rave, the blanks of flashing memories. The incessant loud sounds and the irrational noises create a euphoric audio experience. The throbbing, and strobing light effects give us the literal bright, dark, brightness, and darkness - the idea of it being so fleeting that it falls between our fingers. The feeling of extreme escapism.

Mikołaj Rytowski is an instrumentalist and performer, with roots and formal education in percussion. His practice diverges from the conventional understanding of percussion as a musical instrument, engaging instead with sound and creativity through more organic and innovative means. He extensively explores the possibilities of percussion and electronic instruments, delving into new combinations and sonic discoveries.

Angela Wai Nok Hui, percussionist, sound designer and multidisciplinary artist based in London and Hong Kong. Fascinated with sounds that are not meant to be, devoted to expanding the boundaries of music performances; she has a passion for experimenting with different art forms through the recreation and reimagining of sound and music. Her debut solo work ‚Let Me Tell You Something‘ engages with political references and themes of identity. The album has been described as “...the uncanniest debuts we’ve heard in years” (Boomkat).

🗣️ Pedro Oliveira is a Brazilian, Berlin-based researcher and sound artist whose work is committed to an anticolonial study of listening and its intersections with violence at the European border. Pedro will present his work DESMONTE, a performance for pre-recorded voice and live electronics, exploring vocal timbre at the limits of the body. This work is part of a long-term study on the so-called "automated dialect recognition," a proprietary software in use by the German Office for Migration and Refugees (Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge) since 2017 on cases of undocumented asylum seekers. The piece works through techniques similar to those used by this software, with the voice of Death Metal singer Fernanda Lira (Crypta) as its main sound source.

🗣️ Sainkho Namtchylak grew up in the Republic of Tuva—an autonomous indigenous region north of Mongolia, colonized and annexed by Russia during the 19th and 20th centuries. Sainkho began her career in the 1970s, becoming the first female overtone singing artist and started combining the traditional Tuvan khöömii chants with influences from the Western avant-garde tradition in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s, she moved to Austria and began collaborating with artists from the fields of improvisation and post-traditional music. Nowadays, she travels extensively and works in Southeast Asia, including Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tibet, and Mongolia, conducting overtone singing workshops and continuing to collaborate with experimental musicians from the West. She recorded and released more than 60 audio albums with labels such as Morphine, Ponderosa, and Klanggalerie, among others.

Russell Haswell (Coventry, 1970) has performed with a computer or modular synthesiser in 30countries around the world, on 4 continents, as well as completing long term international
residencies. He has presented projects extensively in venues and festivals including the
Prix Ars Electronica, the Serpentine Pavilion, the Barbican, the V-A-C Foundation in
Russia, M**O Tasmania, the Office for Contemporary Art in Norway, ICC and CCA in Japan.
In addition to his work in galleries, nightclubs and festivals he has also released a huge
amount of records and CDs on labels including Editions Mego, Warp and Diagonal Records.
Russell’s work is deeply inspired by various forms of extreme music ranging from Detroit
Techno to Black Metal and he is perhaps most well known for creating highly innovative,
often improvised, experimental, critical and abrasive works.

Hugo Esquinca (Mexico City, 1990) produces actions and conditions utilising audio
electronics at excessive levels of amplification.
His previous work has been presented in diverse contexts and venues such as Stedelijk
Museum-Amsterdam, National Centre for Contemporary Arts NCCA-Moscow, Museum Nikola Tesla-Zagreb, Festspielhaus HELLERAU-Dresden, CONCRETE Alserkal-Dubai, Namba BEARS-Osaka, 20000V-Tokyo, MIRA Ploschad of Modern Art Siberia-Krasnoyarsk, Le Centquatre-Paris, Fondazione Antonio Ratti-Como, Ujazdowski Castle for Contemporary Art-Warsaw, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Tresor and Berghain-Berlin among others.

🌙 Adela Mede is a Slovak-Hungarian artist and composer of experimental electronic music. She is interested in learning about the use of vocals and its marriage with technology in studio and live contexts, as well as education about the importance of music in our society. Her music tries to incorporate the three languages she speaks (English, Slovak, Hungarian) to explore the vocal shifts attached to memories that these languages bring up.

🌙 Aldana Duoraan is a musician from the Sakha Republic, one of the indigenous autonomies in Eastern Siberia, currently based in Prague. During her upbringing, she was drawn to the traditions of her people and began playing the khomus—a type of mouth harp—at the age of six. She graduated from musical school with a major in the traditional folklore of the Sakha people.

💫 An immersive psychoacoustic sound performance by featuring scientific data, algorithms, digital interactions. Scientist-artist Daniel Maszkowicz works on SuperCollider, bringing together an infinity of digital function generators and data driven synthesizers. He creates multi-channel soundtracks with which he immerses his audience in a subtle hypnosis of low-frequency beats and sonified brainwaves.

💫 INATENDO by — a live sonic improvisation show of electronic experimental ambient noise performed on 4 handheld obsolete Nintendo DS video-game consoles. The performance has an eerie retro-futuristic strange visual aspect and is sonically astonishingly powerful.

💫 Solo performance by , who plays with the oppositions between strength and sensitivity, gentleness and violence, switching from melodies to noisy and dissonant exploration of transgressive music. Voices and sounds from Mars. Simone will present a live version of the sound installation UNSOUND played on immersive quadraphony.

💫 A performance by MeVdA, a solo noise project led by (L’è Tütt Folklor Records, Insomnia Isterica, Mulo Muto, etc.) which hybridises harsh noise, power electronics, musique concrète, drone and ambient in a post-industrial blender with the sole aim of reaching the noise galaxy.

OD Bongo
A meeting between Somaticae’s solid beats and C_C’s noisy grooves. Using various drum machines, the duo blends genres such as techno, dub, noise and industrial. These Ambert and Saint-Etienne based musicians build a soundscape of continuous rhythms and immerse crowds in a wild bass music bubble.

Black Zone Myth Chant
Maxime Primault is a French musician, born in 1983. He has generated many projects over the years, including Black Zone Myth Chant (or BZMC), originally described as « Sun Ra meets Dj Screw ». BZMC self-released first album « Straight Cassette » came out on tape in the end of 2011. Having grown a solid fan base among nerds, it went on to be successfully reissued on Vinyl two years later and reach a larger audience. The moniker, though, could have been left out to drift into oblivion, had it not been for the French artist and DJ Low Jack’s proposal to release a new BZMC album, on his newborn Edition Gravats label. Over a few years of collaboration, the partnership with Edition Gravat spawned numerous BZMC releases, such as “Mane Thecel and Phares” (2015) or “Feng Sheng” (2017), as well as multiples tours and clubs events. The original BZMC sound also slightly shifted shape, to turn into a singular synthesis of electronic experimentations, syncopated grooves, dubby basslines, hypnotic vocals and industrial sounds. In April 2019, the wide aesthetic range of the project was on full-display with the release of the spiritual ambient LP entitled “Voyage Sacrifice”, on the highly regarded Shelter Press label. BZMC is back in 2021 with the soon to be released IN D EV IL EP, coming out as a 12’ vinyl EP on Winged Sun’s new division, WS-PRO, using new tools, improved production techniques, and focusing on a bass music aesthetic. As elegantly described in the press release, IN D EV IL is : « Masterfully disorienting, flickering with FX, drops, and narcotic murmuring, at the threshold of dissociative and dubstep. ».
