RASTA SOUND 5 yesteday Give thanks to everybody involved in making it happen, and Jah know it wasnt easy. We had a big obstacle in our way wearing uniforms at the very beginning stopping the music, so we had to put big energy into a new plan which also failed. So we had to try a third solution which had us moving all the equipments, and guess what it went well so we still could live the magic moment captured on the video below. So it never went smooth, but it is exactly how a RASTA SOUND should happen. HIM Haile Selassie I which we celebrate on this occasion also faced many trials and tribulation when the fascists invaded his homeland. He never lost motivation and took the arms, which failed. So he went on plan B which was diplomatic struggle and international cooperation, and eventually succeeded to keep Ethiopia uncolonized and independent. So as a Rastaman this History of struggle and glory is a big part of what makes me love Haile Selassie I so much and play Reggae on his earthstrong, and when I am facing obstacles like yesterday, I have to keep his image in my mind, be inspired by his perfect example and overcome.
