Why did we leave the UK to live in Switzerland again? Oh yes. I am reminded as I sit next to ‘Britain’s Finest’ at the pool on holiday. Selfish. Loud Music. All About Them. Drunk.

Yes I am in Ibiza. But never in all the visits to this unsually fabulous 5* hotel have we had to put up with this.

It was such an honour to work with Johnny Roxburgh on such an exciting commission two weeks ago. ‘A Night Under The Stars’ charity event for Yorkshire Children’s Charity.

We met a few years ago at an RVSP Symposium event that I was filming in St Moritz, then again in Madrid when I was engaged as a Speaker. But we really got to know each other in Venice at the San Clemente Palace Kempinski luxury hotel.

We made a plan to work together and finally it came together. I am looking forward a great many more collaborations and thank RSVP for giving me the opportunity to meet Johnny and so many other fabulous wedding industry icons.

A Remarkable £1 Million Raised for the Children of Yorkshire.

I had the honour of filming A Night Under The Stars for Yorkshire Children’s Charity at the breathtaking Grantley Hall. The event, beautifully orchestrated by the talented Johnny Roxburgh from Johnny Roxburgh Designs, was an unforgettable evening.
The night was filled with enchanting florals by Fulford Flowers, heartfelt performances by up-and-coming singer-songwriter Finn Forster, and a spectacular moment where Olivia Safe sang while fireworks lit up the sky. Olly Murs capped off the night with an incredible set that had everyone on their feet.

An astonishing £1 million was raised during the evening to help support the children of Yorkshire.

Sunday at Hedsor House was nothing short of magical as we captured the union of an English groom and his beautiful Canadian bride.

With a stunning backdrop, touching moments, and a touch of nature's unpredictability (hello, wind!), it was a celebration of love, laughter, and joy. 🎥✨ Huge thanks to the incredible By Chenai planning team - Anne and Jeni - whose attention to detail made every moment flow seamlessly, and to for the breathtaking floral designs that added an extra touch of sophistication.

Oh, and did I mention the beautiful gown worn by Christy by ? It looked absolutely incredible, flowing effortlessly in the wind and adding an ethereal touch to every shot.

Pretty exciting few weeks coming up for me at Story Of Your Day… This weekend, I’ll be capturing a beautiful wedding at Hedsor House & Park with By Chenai, followed by a gorgeous elopement here in Wengen. Then, as we move into a busy September, a major highlight on my calendar is filming for Johnny Roxburgh Designs at the Yorkshire Children's Charity event ‘A Night Under The Stars’ at Hall, featuring a headline performance from Olly Murs! 🎥✨

This event is a true passion project for Johnny, who's dedicatted to creating unforgettable experiences. Giving back through projects like this one is essential, not just for me but for everyone involved in the industry. It's a way to make a meaningful impact and contribute to a cause greater than ourselves. What an incredible two day wedding event in Montreux, capturing every breathtaking moment of this stunning celebration with boat cruises on Lake Geneva, tours of vineyards and lots of wine and great food to enjoy by everyone.

The wedding day itself took place at the Fairmont Montreux Palace but began with a romantic First Look at the historic Chateau Chillon, followed by an exhilarating ride on a Riva speed boat, setting the tone for a day full of excitement.

The ceremony of Michèle and Collin, which took place on the lawn overlooking Lake Geneva, was just the start of an unforgettable celebration.

As the sun set, the bride and groom took the party to the next level at Terrasse Petit Palais, with dancing, DJ sets, and unforgettable moments that kept the celebration alive well into the night.

A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this dream wedding a reality, and a special shoutout to the brilliant planner, Savina Uldry, for orchestrating every detail to perfection.
