Ob Aita Gasparin und Sergey Semenov ihre Liebe gemeinsam mit ihren Liebsten feiern können, war lange nicht klar. Familie und Freunde von Sergey leben in der Ukraine, in der Stadt Tschernihiw, nördlich von Kiew. Ursprünglich sollte die Hochzeit im April dieses Jahres stattfinden. «Alles war bis ins Detail geplant», erzählt Aita. 15 Gäste aus der Ukraine waren eingeladen. Doch mit Putins Feldzug ändert sich alles. «Während in Sergeys Heimat der Krieg ausbrach, konnten wir nicht in meiner Heimat feiern», sagt sie. Jetzt haben die beiden Biathleten Ja gesagt. Eltern, Schwestern, Topathleten – alle feiern gemeinsam in der Schweiz! «Der perfekte Tag.»
