Costs: $150.00
This includes all flowers, a container made out of recycled material, supporting materials, and a reusable felt bag to transport your finished work. Tools are provided, Tools are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own clippers or your own container- such as a ceramic pot for plants, approximately 8 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
If you would like to bring some cut flowers or greenery from your own garden, you are more than welcome to do so.
Babette will provide wine, orange blossom lemonade and light snacks, which are also included.
Evelyn Krebs will teach an afternoon class in floral arrangement. You will make a beautiful floral composition to take home. Learn about the care and handling of cut flowers, floral color theory, and the aesthetics of three-dimensional flower design.
You will create a beautiful and sustainable arrangement for your home, and celebrate the healing powers of working with your hands and working with flowers. The enclosed photos are an example. Each arrangement will be unique in color and the available flowers.
Evelyn is a Master florist from Switzerland. She is an experienced teacher of floristic arts with an emphasis on sustainability. She also studies and appreciates the holistic arts, with an emphasis on the medicinal powers of plants. Evelyn has a special connection to Berkeley – her husband was born and raised here.

Ein Blütenmeer von saisonalen Blumen und gesammelten Raritäten umgibt Sie während diesen Tagen. Sie können ausgiebig Ihrer künstlerischen Ader frönen. Sie gestalten romantische Blumensträusse, ein wunderbares Gesteck sowie einen haltbaren Türschmuck. Im Team kreieren Sie eine grosse und einzigartige Blumeninstallation. Sie erhalten zu allen Arbeiten eine Anleitung & viele wichtige Tips und Tricks im Umgang mit Blumen.
Evelyn Krebs führt Sie als Inhaberin eines renommierten Blumengeschäftes in Zürich (www.stilundstiele.ch) mit Leidenschaft durch die Tage, die auch Raum für Erholung lassen. Mit Ihrer Kursleiterin und Meisterfloristin sind Sie perfekt begleitet.
