I love the funeral side of my job as much as the wedding side. Death, dying and grief are areas which I feel comfortable in, and although there are sometimes different factors to navigate as a funeral celebrant, there’s more overlap than people necessarily think.
If you’re thinking about this as a career I suggest:
Training, in-person and online @thefuneralfix (they have just released a fab podcast too!)
Danielle @ceremonies_with_danielle is holding a session in Brisbane in March
Jo @bigloveceremonies speaks about funerals so eloquently and is a real pro. She also has a book which you can buy via her website
Fiona @fionathefuneralcelebrant is a master at what she does, and supports those thinking of this career, including via @thecelebrantsociety
