One of the greatest mistakes you can ever make as a marketer or sales person is you propose solutions to a problem without finding out what the problem is. Don't be too quick to talk and don't assume you fully understand the problem because in marketing and sales, assumptions don't cut it.

Now the common thing to understand is when you're talking to a client, you first of all understand the problem or better still you diagnose from there you are able to prescribe medication that serves the purpose.

Let's look at this example, you walk into the hospital and you tell the doctor you're not feeling fine and the first thing he does is gives you drugs without finding out what exactly is wrong with you, what will be your reaction?

Imagine being born in a poor family. In a poverty hard hit community (Town & Nation)

Born in a family that can barely afford your primary and secondary school fees and other educational needs to keep you in school.

Imagine being born in a family where going to the university to get a degree looks like luxury or something for a selected few families.

Imagine being born out of wedlock and raised by a single mother who can barely guarantee consistent monthly income above the minimum wage.

Imagine being born in a family that cannot provide you the right support you need when starting a business or an initiative even in the form of recommendations not to talk of finances.

Imagine leaving school with poor grades because you were not able to attend a good school, have access to good teachers or you were always out of class because your school fee was not paid on time.

It is often said that people have nice things to say about you but sadly you will have to die first. Sadly this is the reality of life and here is why?

While you are alive, people don't celebrate you nor do they tell you how true their feelings are be it bad or good but secretly they watch you, they appreciate you and may or may not celebrate you.

Those that hate you and wish you don't make it will be called hatters but to an extent they are you greatest motivation trying to proof yourself right

Now this is what happens when you die, the pain is felt, the pain of not having someone to pick a fight with. The pain of not having someone to hate for no reason, the pain of missing that person, the pain of not having someone to talk about and against. We all have that pain and hence we have a lot of things to say when they die.

Most of those things may not be genuine or coming from the heart but no matter the motive behind it ,they are always heart warming and emotional and touching.
