Originally from Chengdu, China, Pollyhedron is a dynamic force in the independent music scene. Active as DJ, promoter, event organizer, and โ€wildโ€œ agent, she thrives in rock scenes and dancefloors across the global.

In 2008 she founded The Rove Project which connect tightly with other Psytrance artists from home and abroad. In 2023 and 2025, she joined Lost Music Recs and Post Modern Music as a DJ respectively. From the high-speed dark sounds of the night to the organic rhythms of nature, she shares what she loves with empathy.

Now she is more focused on discovering some boundless psychedelic textures with core power and get ready to take her explosive set to a broader stage.

Conceptualised from years of listening and mixing to the various sub-genres and spaces of psychedelic trance and managing Post-Modern Music, the Shanta project takes influences from contemporary and traditional music forms, drum circles, ambiances of nature, elementary principles, and eccentric visions. The intention is to provide listeners with an introspective experience as they traverse through known and unknown sonic spaces.

Shanta is also a core member and manager of the India-based label, Post-Modern Music, and an artist with Labyrinthine Crew, Divinorum Music, Andhakaara Records and Sacred Sound . Shanta is also one half of Tangents, along with his fellow PMM pirate Tangular, a project that looks to develop a unique โ€œPost-Modernโ€style of psychedelic trance.
