Designed with purposeful color crashes, this table is the embodiment of late-summer style and joy.

For this Asian cuisine inspired table, I opted for elegant square plates - they accentuate the length of the table and offer a modern twist. Yet, I was keen on maintaining the communal charm of shared meals inherent in Asian dining.

To harmonize form and function, I crafted a floral platform centerpiece for dishes.

But it's more than decor, it's interactive magic.

As plates are placed down for serving, candles integrated within the centerpiece extinguish, creating a playful ambiance.

Candlelight is a key player in table styling. It adds warmth, romance, and that perfect late-summer glow. When space was scarce for additional candles, I embraced the challenge and incorporated them into the centerpiece.

Another thing I want to point out is the moss I used in the centerpiece. This small touch is a nod to the beauty of the outdoors, reminding us of late summer's lush greenery.

One of the best ways to achieve this is through the economical and dramatic use of large leaves - like banana leaves.

Not only do they make a grand statement, but they also serve as an excellent base to hold your beautiful heat-resistant florals.

The larger the leaf, the more impressive the display!

These florals don't just add splashes of color to your centerpieces and venue decor, but they also have a decent shelf life, so you don't need to fret about them wilting away before the party ends.

I've always had a soft spot for color - it can bring a table set up to life and fill a room with energy.

This love for color led me to create something a bit different: a rainbow tablescape.

Each place setting in this design is a different color - red, orange, yellow, green, purple.

It's like a vibrant journey across a rainbow, right at your dining table.

And the best part? The centerpiece that ties it all together is remarkably simple to make.

You just need to pick small bouquets of flowers in a single color and use whatever short glass vases you have on hand.

Align each vase with the corresponding place setting, and voila, you've got yourself a visually striking centerpiece that anyone can create.

I also like to add a touch more of personality to my tables, so I tucked a single stem into each white napkin.

You'd probably never guess that most of the blue flowers in the centerpiece are actually faux flowers, but that's exactly what they are. Faux flowers can be such a game-changer; they add volume, texture and a unique charm to any arrangement.

It's amazing how a colorful centerpiece, full of greens and realistic faux flowers, can adapt to any theme. All you need to do is pick your colors, and the rest just falls into place.

What makes this setup even more special? Most of this decor was reused from another celebration earlier in the day. Sustainability is just as important to me as style.

Here's a little secret: the same centerpiece can look drastically different depending on the setting and the tablecloth. I created this table to celebrate a family graduation but it would work just as well for a farewell party or celebrating a well deserved promotion.

I really like the meaning of behind this arrangement, with a boat gracefully sailing away, symbolizing the journey ahead and the exciting possibilities that await.

The deep blue vegan leather tablecloth works with the theme and is gender neutral yet elegant.

You don't need to spend a lot of time and money to create a beautiful table.

This classic gold tablescape is the perfect blend of elegance and versatility.

I used the rule of three to create a simple, inexpensive but still classy arrangement.

The best part is that I already had these three gold vases sitting on my console table.
