I can work directly with you or with your wedding planner to create a Sacred Wedding Ceremony that's just right for your very special day. My ceremonies are perfect for all kinds of weddings, from intimate elopements to larger gatherings. They are Sacred Ceremonies honouring Love and Spirit in all their manifestations, and can be spiritual yet non-denominational if that is your preference. We can also include rituals and symbols from many different cultural traditions, if you like. Many of my ceremonies feature a beautiful flower-filled and intricately decorated altar that I create especially for you. Please check out my photo albums for photos of my altars and ceremonies. Our vow renewal ceremony with Raven was nothing short of amazing. Her communication from our initial reaching out months prior and leading up to the day was very good. We knew what to expect and when to expect it. We are very spiritual people and were concerned about finding a person who could provide such a ceremony. We found that in Raven. We even had a few issues and she was very accommodating. We couldn’t recommend a better person for anyone looking for services like this in Costa Rica. And not to mention she is so reasonably priced! Thank you so much Raven for making our vow renewal be all that we hoped it would be.

Cristina and Mario got married on Playa Bejuco on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, attended by family and friends and with their sweet daughter as Flower Girl. They chose the Abundant Blessings Ceremony with a beautiful altar and the ceremony was entirely in Spanish. As well as creating a Blessing Boat, Cristina and Mario chose to include a Mayan ritual using 4 colours of corn, each with its own blessing. At the end of the ceremony they walked among their guests and were showered with yellow and white flower petals, also a Mayan tradition. And while storm clouds gathered on the mountains just inland, on the beach we didn’t get rain. Instead the clouds provided a dramatic backdrop for some stunning photos.

I am honoured to perform Weddings and Vow Renewal Ceremonies in the natural splendour of Costa Rica, designed to make your day truly magical and memorable. I have more than 20 years experience creating altars and holding ceremonies of all kinds. My Passion is to bring a ceremony experience that is truly sacred and memorable, and my Art lies in the unique Altar I create for certain ceremonies.

Would you like to say your vows on a pristine beach with a gorgeous sunset as your backdrop? Or maybe you envision an elegant gathering at a luxurious villa. I can work directly with you or with your event planner to create something that's just right for you. My ceremonies are perfect for all kinds of weddings and vow renewals, from intimate elopements to larger gatherings.

My role is to hold a sacred space in which we celebrate your love as you make your vows to each other. Some ceremonies are Sweet & Simple, while others are more elaborate and feature meaningful rituals to bless your union. I especially love elopements and have created elopement packages with ceremonies in magical places.

The Sacred Shamanic Ceremony is based on symbols and concepts that embody what is universal about human experience, like the Four Directions, the Cycles of Life & Time, and the Elements of Air, Water, Earth and Fire which we use in a meaningful ritual to bestow abundant blessings upon your marriage. It is a spiritual ceremony in that it honours the workings of Nature as expressions of the Divine.

I also offer nondenominational, Archangel, Mayan, Jewish, Native American and Christian-inspired ceremonies. Included with some ceremonies is a one-of-a-kind altar I create just for you, that forms an integral part of the ritual.

I work primarily in the south Pacific zone, also called the Costa Ballena for the humpback whales that breed here each year. My area of operation runs from Quepos/Manuel Antonio south through Dominical & Uvita to Ojochal, and inland to San Isidro de El General. There are amazing beaches and waterfalls in this area, where the Talamanca mountains tumble into the sea. It has been likened to the Big Sur area of California. I can also travel to other areas of the country (may incur travel fees).

This was a beautiful Vow Renewal ceremony celebrating 25 years of marriage for Staci and Jason. I was so inspired by their story…how they met and married at a young age, and while some wondered if they were ready for such a big commitment, they knew their love was strong and true. For 25 years now, together they have embraced the joys and surmounted the challenges that life delivered to them. It reminded me of the classic Sonny and Cher song “I Got You Babe”, and so that became part of their ceremony as well!

"We had the most incredible experience with raven from the first contact until the day we left. Although we wrote our own wedding vows the ceremony really reflected mine and mikes relationship. Very personal and was able to capture the essence of "us". She spent quality time with us getting to know us, what we were looking for in our day and making sure we were comfortable with everything. We weren't sure about the blessing boat at first but it was really touching and we're so happy we did it. She also found a photographer for us who took these beautiful pictures that we will always have.

This was a lovely spur-of-the-moment wedding ceremony for a truly special couple. Erin and Charles had been friends forever, then realized one day that their friendship had deepened into love. So they spontaneously decided to elope on their Costa Rica holiday. We celebrated their love with a Sacred Shamanic Ceremony with Blessing Offering. The location was Playa Ventanas in a private tranquil spot where the river flowed into the ocean, marking the union of fresh and salt water and the joining of their lives.

Lynzy and Jenna got married in an intimate ceremony with family and friends, at the Lattice House overlooking the Whale's Tail above Uvita on the Costa Ballena. During the ceremony the skies opened up and the raindrops mingled with everyone's tears of joy. A beautiful celebration of love in a spectacular setting.
