Last week we celebrated the 12th birthday of the amazing Indi Rose. The change and growth that have happened over the last year has been both mind-blowing and beautiful to witness. 🤯😍
Literally the best gift we have ever received is the privilege of walking this life with you by our side. 12 years ago a sweet bundle of awesomeness rocked our world. In the last dozen years, you have evolved into a perfect combination of independence and opinions, curiosity and intelligence, compassion and heart, quirkiness and your own unique style. 😎
We can't wait to see what this next year brings. We are so proud of the person you are, the young woman you are becoming and so thankful to have been chosen as your parents. 💕

What are few other things you can do to make your wedding or event eco,-friendly? Use locally sourced, upcycled, rented and natural decor. This table includes napkins and runners made in the area by local women and then dyed using avocado seeds. Locally farmed, in season flowers and local, in-season tropical fruit. It is completed with vintage, rented glass water goblets and brass candlesticks from our friends .

What are some things that make a wedding eco-ethical? A few things to start with are the venue and your vendors? Does your venue choose the environment and eco-practices above profit? You can still offer world class service, without sacrificing the planet to do so. Our friends are Rio Perdido are a perfect example of this.
By choosing a planner (and other vendors) who gives a $&! # about the planet, you can make informed choices about what the best options and practices are for your big day. Instead of traditional bridesmaids, S decided to call on her Mom and her future MIL to be her best ladies and stand by her side at her wedding. It was such a beautiful thing to witness the love and pride they had as they helped her get ready.
For some couples eloping means running away without their parents to be wed. For others it is running away with ONLY their parents to exchange their vows 😂 The best part of eloping? You can do whatever suits you on your day! You know your family and can make the choice that is best for you!

This week is Mothers Day in Costa Rica and it's kind of big deal. Schools and businesses are closed and the entire country is encouraged to celebrate their Mamas! It is just another thing we love about this culture.
The amazing mothers we get to witness during these life milestones are gentle reminders of the steady guidance, unconditional love and if they are doing it right - the ability a Mama has to drive us little crazy.
