At the early age of 15, his roots for Reggae/Dancehall and Hip Hop Music started to grow, but it was until he was 16 that an opportunity a friend of him gave to start learning how to DANCE this type of urban music that he discovers the DJing world. The need they had during rehearsals to create new steps and choreographies make him jump into the computer to start getting familiar with all the diffe
rent kinds of audio software. The need to understand the terminology and the complexity of the music to create the perfect mixes made him develop the love and dedication he needed to start creating music and mixing sounds to create with his friends the best shows in a Dancing Company called "OneVice Unit". All this experience dancing helped Geordie understand the business, visit the most important scenarios in Costa Rica and give the best high school parties ever in CTP Calle Blancos during his senior year in 2011. After completing High School, Geordie took 3 years OFF to focus on his Systems Engineer career. But he also started to grow and study the rising DJs and their abilities in Costa Rica such as the Platinum Crew, Reggae Night Crew and in the electronic world guys like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Guetta among others. Discovering a long the way many musical genres, Geordie eventually settles for Techno and its many sub-genres. But it was on 2014 that multiple friends started contacting him for private events and weddings. April 15th, 2015, big event in the career of Dj Geordie, a colleague from the area called him to participate and help him play at Bar Tribu, a very well-known bar in San Jose. Geordie participate in this residence actively for around 1.5 years in combination with multiple private events were more more people started contacting him. In 2016, Geordie makes direct contact with one of the most important and recognized DJs in Electronic Music in Costa Rica: Arturo Monge aka FRIGID, the time to study improve and develop new skills started again actively attending to his teaching classes named GROOVE SESSIONs. Is very important to mention and highlight this event since it was the moment were Geordie really found a mentor in this area and learns how to find his own personal sound and brand with the professionalism necessary for the business. After this the time to partner with one of the most important cover bands in Costa Rica came, Mustang65 band that has been recognized for playing versions of most of their music influences in acoustic, trio or duet combinations. This partnership started and since that moment private shows started to knock more and more for both entities. Mainly known now for creating a unique combination of the rock band and the full party event with the best sound.
