Thank you to Nos Karnaval for this BEAUTIFUL evening. We sincerely appreciate it! We are honored to be part of this celebration and wholeheartedly grateful to take home the 2nd runner up prize for Group of the year! A huge PABIEN to all the other winners and a HUGE PABIEN to all carnival groups and AGKK for making the Curaçao Carnival Celebration possible!

When we look at the beautiful costumes and the floats in the Curaçao carnival parade often only a few individuals get credited, when in fact there is an entire army of volunteers behind each carnival group making it all possible. Hats off to Dreams shines a light on a few of the many volunteers that make available their time, talent, property, tools, equipment etc. to build this masterpiece we call carnival. When looking at our photos and upcoming aftermovies, we encourage you to look beyond the partying, costumes and floats and see the countless volunteer hours that make this HUGE celebration possible. Hats off to all volunteers. Team work makes the dream work!

Our Roots: In 1972 Mrs. Hilda Vinck-Leañez founded the carnival group Jumping Hats. Together with family members and friends they participated in Curaçao's carnival parade for the first time in 1973. Jumping Hats has made an enormous contribution to Curaçao's carnival during the 36 years that followed.

It has always been Hilda’s dream to carry this tradition on to the next generation of ‘karnavalistas’. This is where the name "Hats off to Dreams" originated, meaning “to express admiration for someone who has done something praiseworthy.”

The carnival tradition is a gift that we certainly and continuously cherish. Hats off to Dreams wants to make a contribution to this phenomenal cultural event as one of the new and hottest carnival groups. Our vision: " Push the boundaries of what’s possible, revolutionizing Curaçao's traditional and cultural carnival event.” Now that’s HOTD!

Every year we look forward to share our creation with you.... our friends, family and all of Curaçao (Kòrsou kompletu!).
