📍Ο Κόλπος της Επισκοπής βρίσκεται στη νοτιοδυτική Κύπρο, στην επαρχία Λεμεσού, και μεγάλο τμήμα του ελέγχεται από τη βρετανική βάση στο Ακρωτήρι.

💧Οι ποταμοί Κούρης, Αυδήμου και Παραμαλίου που ξεκινούν από το Τρόοδος, εκβάλλουν στον κόλπο Επισκοπής, ο οποίος θεωρείται ιδιαίτερα πλούσιος σε αλιεύματα.

📜 Στην αρχαιότητα, πιθανόν να βρισκόταν εκεί το λιμάνι της πόλης του Κουρίου. Βάσει πηγών, στην περιοχή του ναού του Απόλλωνα Υλάτη, όπου και σήμερα υπάρχουν γκρεμοί, μαρτυρείται ότι οι κάτοικοι έριχναν στη θάλασσα όσους προσέβαλαν τον βωμό του θεού.

📍Episkopi Bay is located in southwestern Cyprus, in the Limassol District, with a large part of it being controlled by the British base at Akrotiri.

💧The rivers Kouris, Avdimou, and Paramali, which originate from the Troodos mountains, flow into Episkopi Bay, which is considered to be particularly rich in fish.

📜 In ancient times, it was believed that the port of the city of Kourion was located there. According to historical sources, in the area of the Temple of Apollo Hylates, where cliffs still exist today, it is reported that the inhabitants threw those who desecrated the altar of the god into the sea.

With great joy and excitement we would like to announce that we have completed the second and final phase of the renovation of the ex “village inn” building and now “the courtyard episkopi”. The 5-year project has transformed the historic building in the centre of episkopi village to four luxury appartments, three of which will be available for short term rental. We are now ready to accept bookings. 🤗☺️
