MAKERS FAIR /24 the technology and creativity festival will take place on Sunday, 2nd of June 2024, from 16:00 to 22:00, at the Youth Makerspace Larnaka, inviting professionals and amateur makers to meet in an environment of inspiration and idea evolution. Additionally, the festival is open to all ages, aiming to introduce the public to the capabilities and processes of the technological equipment available at the space.

📍2nd of June, 16:30 - 18:30 Clay Sculpture Workshop in collaboration with Eirene Constantinou , Ίδρυμα Πολιτιστικής Δημιουργίας - Larnaca Cultural Foundation and Youth Makerspace Larnaka team!

🏺Join us to experience the art of sculpting and create your 3D clay object! The aim of the workshop is the exploration of imagination and creative expression and the development of motor/technical skills with a natural material that we have been using since ancient times until today.

Coastline(s) Waning: All for a few extra Sunbeds
Over the past year, artists Nurtane Karagil and Korallia Stergides embarked on a compelling and thought-provoking campaign, strategically designed to kindle awareness amongst both governing authorities, stakeholders and a seemingly indifferent public about the critical environmental challenges confronting the island's coastal areas.
Billboards and Bus Ads showcasing the Nurtane Karagil’s hyper collages were widespread across Cyprus, seamlessly intersecting between art and advertisement, her a childlike approach, brought forth playful images that tackle pressing issues affecting our coastal areas. While Korallia Stergides with her video performance embodied “Korallida”, the biggest walking red flag in Cyprus, subverting the blue flag of our supposedly and proudly deemed clear beaches.

📢 Join us next week at Coastline(s) Waning: All for a few extra Sunbeds will be opening its doors on May 18th, at 17:00 with a live performance by Korallida Stergides at 18:00 and will continue until the May 28th.

In the "Coastlines Waning" campaign, artists Nurtane Karagil and Korallia Stergides highlight the environmental damage happening along coastlines in Cyprus. Through art and activism, the two artists design their own campaigns to create awareness amongst local responsible bodies, key stakeholders and the public on the critical environmental challenges confronting the island’s coastal areas.

The campaign illustrates that development for profit is harming the natural beauty of the coast. The campaign inspires action to preserve the environment and create a better balance between humans and nature.

The project implemented by .vivos in cooperation with the Allianz Foundation.

💠 Alchemy Soundbath Meditation is a new project in collaboration with Swetlana Boos, originally from Berlin, a seasoned life coach, Breathwork and Soundbath Facilitator. With years of dedicated client experience and a background in classical music, Swetlana's mission is to harmonize the latest evidence-based tools for focus and relaxation with practical implementation. Drawing on a rich background in mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, yoga, and mindset coaching, Swetlana guides individuals and organizations through transformative experiences, seamlessly interweaving these elements.

🌺 We are creating a new interdisciplinary experience, combining sound meditation inside an art gallery space situated in the old-town of Larnaca on a Sunday morning! Well it sounds goood!!🎵
