Dive into the unknown with Salty River, where haunting melodies and deep rhythms pull you beneath the surface of alternative sound. On the Rialto stage, the band delivers an intense and heartfelt performance that flows between emotion and release.

Formed in 2022, Salty River is a five-piece indie/alternative rock band from Cyprus. Blending guitars, violin, bass, and drums, they craft atmospheric rock infused with metal undertones — a sound both raw and liberating. Their debut album Wild (2022) captures the shifting moods of human experience, tracing a journey from dawn to dusk, from tension to freedom.

🖋️ Δύο κορυφαίοι καλλιτέχνες, ο Δημήτρης Μπάσης και ο Παναγιώτης Μάργαρης, ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους και μας παρουσιάζουν παντοτινά διαμάντια σπουδαίων Ελλήνων δημιουργών.

Φυσικά, δε θα λείψουν οι μεγάλες επιτυχίες του καταξιωμένου ερμηνευτή Δημήτρη Μπάση, ο οποίος έχει πραγματοποιήσει κορυφαίες συνεργασίες και πολυάριθμες live εμφανίσεις σε ξεχωριστά θέατρα και συναυλιακούς χώρους σε όλο τον κόσμο, διασκευασμένες μοναδικά από τον Παναγιώτη Μάργαρη, καθώς και κομμάτια για σόλο κιθάρα από την πλούσια δισκογραφία του διεθνούς φήμης κλασικού κιθαρίστα.

Δύο από τους σημαντικότερους καλλιτέχνες στο είδος τους, για πρώτη φορά μαζί. Μια σπάνια καλλιτεχνική συνάντηση στη σκηνή του Θεάτρου Ριάλτο.

A microcosm fertilizes itself with ghost blood. In the absence of human interaction, Cyprus’s buffer zone cultivates the rebirth of new life. In his solo performance, Elias Klark envisions the post-apocalyptic landscape of his homeland through an audiovisual synthesis. An amorphous shadow embodies the dance of an uncultivated land, abandoned and haunted by a perpetual truce between North and South. The New Buffer Zone becomes an act of self-reconciliation, marked by desires that transcend division and expressed through the slow evolution of an endless rhythmic organism.

Elias Klark is a dance and performance artist based between the Netherlands and Cyprus. His work engages with themes of colonial legacies, national diasporas, and militarized states, seeking through the body new ways to redefine identity and collective existence. Oscillating between self-sustained agency and the paradox of its failure, his research traverses the complex geopolitical landscape of his birthplace and his experience of compulsory service in the Cypriot National Guard. His performances unfold through transformation and liminal spaces — imaginary buffer zones that invite audiences to envision new forms of revolution. He will graduate in 2026 from the SNDO and ECD programmes at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam.

Darkness.
The darkest darkness.”

Constellation of Awakening unfolds in a world plunged into eternal darkness — where the horizon has dissolved and dreams seep into waking life. The audience drifts between the poetic and the political, between despair and imagination.

Through sound, movement, and shifting visual landscapes, the work becomes a collective dream hovering at the edge of sleep and consciousness, resistance and surrender. Rather than offering escape, it asks how dreaming itself can be an act of resistance — a way to heal, to transform, to imagine otherwise.

An invitation to a shared dream.
And perhaps, by morning, the world will be different.
