Too often we avoid nuts because of their high caloric content.
Meanwhile, a handful of nuts (about 30 g) can be a valuable part of the diet - even while losing weight!
They have beneficial effects on cholesterol levels.
They carry vitamins (A, D, E and K) and improve their absorption.
They are a source of amino acids, folic acid, antioxidants, B vitamins and minerals.

It is also worth knowing that nuts, seeds and grains contain enzyme inhibitors that prevent the plant from sprouting too early. Getting into the body, they block digestive enzymes. Therefore, the body will absorb a small part of the valuable ingredients found not only in nuts or seeds, also the ingredients eaten together in a meal, e.g. salad. Earlier soaking of nuts and seeds will allow the body absorb much more, even up to 100% of the goodies.
Soaked nuts and seeds are easier to digest, do not burden the digestive system, especially the pancreas.
Phytic acid is neutralized. * Phytic acid occurs naturally and serves to bind and store phosphorus in plants, especially in seeds and their husks. It is an indigestible anti-nutrient for humans and has a strong chelating effect, i.e. it has the ability to bind with minerals. The elements supplied with food in the digestive tract combine with phytic acid and form insoluble complexes, so they cannot be absorbed into the bloodstream and used.
Phytic acid also rinses out of the body iron and, magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper.
It is best to soak the nuts & seeds overnight, but the minimum for:
Hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds - 10 hours
Walnuts, almonds - 8 hours
Sunflower seeds, sesame seeds - 4-6 hours
Cashews, pistachios - 2-4 hours
Brazil nuts, macadamia nuts, pine nuts - at least an hour
After soaking, rinse and dry.
For the same reason, you should absolutely soak legumes, cereals, cereals, groats and rice before cooking.
Note: We only wet nuts and seeds intended for consumption. Do not store previously soaked nuts.

🎯 Drink about 1.5 liters of water and mild herbal teas
🎯 Eat regularly at fixed times. Check intermittent fasting - the results will surprise you ;)
🎯 Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables
🎯 Go for a walk, bike or pool
🎯 Read books
🎯 Go to bed earlier
🎯 Stop thinking negatively about yourself and/or others
🎯 Cherrish little things
🎯 Do not judge or compare yourself with others
🎯 Don't gossip and do not say bad things about someone. Remember that you know only the tiny part of their story.

KETO Plan - Do you know what you eat?
The keto diet => the ketogenic diet pays great attention to reducing carbohydrates in the daily diet.
The body usually looks for energy from carbohydrates, but the goal of keto diet is to turn the body to use fats as a fuel instead of glucose. That is why the amount of carbs is significantly reduced in favour to fats and proteins.
BUT please remember.
ONLY with a proper caloric control and focus to the macronutirents proportions, you can actually count on good short-term results.
In a long run a diet high in protein may cause a serious health risk. Studies show that high protein consumption may contribute to obesity-related type 2 diabetes, and that the seemingly excellent source of protein, which is meat (including poultry) consumed in large amounts, increases the likelihood of obesity by 30% !!!
We wrote about it before - MEAT IS NOT ANY GUARANTEE OF HEALTHY EATING.
In the light of scientific research, there is no reason to limit carbohydrates (more than what you would expect from caloric restriction) to reduce weight.
While in the short term, increasing the amount of protein may be helpful for weight loss, although the long-term health effects will be rather unfavorable.
IN CONCLUSION:
1. Diets other than balanced and based on high quality, nutrient dense ingredients shall be used only for short period of time and are suitable for persons with a specific dietary goals.
2. When deciding to choose a SPECIALIZED DIET even for a short period of time you shall look for a professional support in order to obtain the results you wish to see and not too harm your health in the longer perspective.
