Finally I can write my review of our amazing wedding a month ago, as we had the final celebrations last night at home at our home wedding party 🎉

Where do I start 🤔!?!
Firstly it’s hard work trying to narrow down enough photos to post on this group to show you all how amazing our day was, so I managed to get to 48 out of 1315 taken that day 🙈.

Thanks so much to George Athanasiou from Clickart-photography civil weddings. He was so nice and did all our photo requests, met us half way off the bus and then took us to location photos, whilst our guests travelled back to the hotel on the bus. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and I’m finding it hard to narrow it down to fit in an album 😬.

I joined this page back in 2021 with the hopes of getting married in Cyprus and initially I just followed the group and decided to go out to Cyprus in October 2022 to view venues.
We just viewed the two The Dome Beach and Constantinos the Great. We decided that we really wanted to get married on the beach and fell in love with the Dome. We came home and waited for the 2024 dates to be released and then we liased with the amazing Lynn Mitchell to book our date and start the planning.

She provided me with a list of suppliers, I contacted them all and had an idea of what I would like for the day, secured them with a deposit and the planning commenced.

We booked the Ayia Trias Cruises for a girls hen do a few days before the wedding! This was such a good day and everyone loved it 🥰

We booked Cyprus Wedding Touches Ltd for our decor, and Dawn video called me for us to run through exactly what we needed. The decor on the day was absolutely beautiful, we did purchase some tall centre pieces but there was a bit of wind at the time they set up so we agreed they were at risk of breaking the glass on the table so we settled for just the flowers to be safe.

The Cyprus Love Wedding Bus is an absolute must!!! With 73 of us we filled the bus 🙈, but all of our guests loved it and I heard some of them telling others that didn’t attend abroad at our wedding party last night all about it 😍. Thanks Giorgos Beauford Mouskovias

Love Me Do the ice cream and games were a huge hit too! Not only did the kids enjoy playing our adult guests joined in too. The white kinder bueno ice cream is amazing 😋 !!

Richie Roo Designs, thank you for being so patient as I turned into a bridezilla when planning my table plan 🙈, just because there was so many names on there 😂! We got there in the end and it looked so nice.

Starlight wedding dancefloors thanks so much for the Mr and Mrs letters, dancefloor and fireworks. It made the reception venue look so special. Sam is lovely to deal with too 😃.

Chris Papadopoulos on the sax was amazing! Kept the dance floor full throughout 💃🏼. He even practiced a song for us that we do a local dance to and played along to it. A song he’ll never play the sax to again as it’s a random song 😂.

Mini Mania Cyprus we booked the mini package for 3 hours and it had plenty of variety for all the children to keep busy (it was a god send for us, especially with our 4 year old whirlwind of a son 😃). We followed this with Sing 2 on the beach, perfect for the smaller children to lay down and relax.
The children were watched by the two girls and it just gave extra eyes so parents could relax and enjoy themselves! This is worth every penny and would 100% recommend!!

We upgraded our cake from blue owl bakery, white chocolate and raspberry- it was delicious 😋. Erene cut it up in the bar for our guests whilst we was having our photos straight after the ceremony.

Erene Constantinou is amazing, she had a big job on her hands with my wedding. I practically filled half of her office with my favours and bits for the wedding. Nothing was ever any trouble for her. I must mention Maria too she works supporting Erene and she’s the most lovely lady, always making sure you’re ok and happy ❤️❤️.

I didn’t have a hair or makeup trial, we went in with pictures for our hair on the wedding morning and Hair Artistry by Angeline did a wonderful job, my hair was beautiful and it stayed in all day.

I planned the order of the day down to the finer detail, liaising with the photographer to make sure we wasn’t away from our guests for too long as we wanted to enjoy the party too. It worked out perfect and everything went to plan.

Finally the dome hotel:

Including ourselves 50 out of our 73 guests stayed at the Dome.

We booked a two week stay and decided before we got there that we wanted to upgrade to a junior suite. This was by the children’s pool and it was the best decision! We had so much room and with having a small child the location for us was perfect! There was plenty of room to get ready on the wedding day too.

I read so many reviews before coming out saying the foods not great, the hotels needs updating.
Please don’t read reviews and believe them, everybody has their own views on things and it really did worry me.
We found the food to be fine, there was always something to eat. The all inclusive drinks were good, especially the lemon daiquiris 😋! Our cleaner was so lovely and she came every day.

All in all, all 50 of us had the best holiday. Some of our guests have even talked about returning in the near future.

I will end with, please don’t worry too much about what will happen out there. The paperwork is easy, the team in the resort know exactly want you want. The suppliers all work together and just let your photographer know what you want to do with your photos and they will accommodate you. The dj was great and the bar staff did a sterling job at keeping all our guests topped up with drink.

I’m sad it’s all over now, but I can honestly say it was the best day and just how I imagined it to be 😍. Dome is now our special place, and we will be back 🫶🏻.

Thank you my lovely Lisa Davies still 5 years ago and you remember us!
I got married there 5 years ago, definitely look into the wedding bus Giorgos Beauford Mouskovias it’s amazing and made our wedding, we used it in between the wedding and reception to go to Greco bay for some scenic photos then back to the hotel, our guests still talk about it now. In our experience the wedding planners were amazing and within 24 hours of arriving at the hotel all our questions were answered and everything was very organised. Personally we hired someone for the decoration to save us the hassle and it was so worth it, and I booked Mary Beecher for my hair and she was fantastic! and she can recommend for makeup as well (a family member did mine) also book to have your dress steamed when you get there so it’s all perfect for the day, they will also clean and pack it afterwards for coming home too!
