Actually, that was just a few years ago! My business used to mail 20,000 leaflets weekly, we had three teams of door canvassers, 32 telephone canvassers. 17 sales reps. If I had the same business today, I would not need 80% of them. As all my marketing could be achieved online. The DaxiCyprus Business Directory was created to help businesses establish a strong connection for everyone, inspired by a vision to provide a comprehensive online listing of businesses while providing opportunities for site users to communicate with one another via a digital platform. Freelancers, service providers, sole traders, self-employed persons and other professionals within the Cyprus community can all benefit from this online directory which allows regular interaction between members and the formation of business links. Our research started in 2018 and involving a thorough analysis of market dynamics in digital growth, revealed that the business community was in need of a platform with business directory features and that such an online community would help to bridge gaps between businesses operating in different areas of the country. A lengthy process of research into site-building software and the workings of existing business directory sites was completed in 2020. Directory listings help businesses expand their online presence, reach new customers and connect with other enterprises. It was decided that social media integration would help broaden links between members, a news feature would enable website users to keep up-to-date with current business information and that an events calendar would alert members of upcoming social occasions.
