🇬🇧 This year, the fortress will welcome BEWITCHED with their "pre-thrash black metal", occult thrash/black Mortuary Drape, and pure evil at top speed from Poland's Totenmesse. Also coming for the first time - from America huntress of darkness Emma Ruth Rundle, from Australia instrumental djent trio The Omnific, and from Belgium progressive stoners MY DILIGENCE.

Returning to the brutal stages will be avant-garde jazz-black IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT, sophisticated Sylosis, and folk-black-death trolls Finntroll.

🇨🇿 Letos pevnost poprvé přivítá BEWITCHED se svým "před-trashovým black metalem", okultní thrash/blackoví MORTUARY DRAPE a destilované zlo v nejvyšší rychlosti polských TOTENMESSE. Z Ameriky také dorazí lovkyně temnoty EMMA RUTH RUNDLE, z Austrálie instrumentální djentové trio THE OMNIFIC a z Belgie progresivní stoneři MY DILIGENCE.

Death metal classics CARCASS will return to Brutal after five years. Together with them you can look forward to a proper brutal death metal charge from CYTOTOXIN, grindcore PIG DESTROYER, death-grinders ROTTEN SOUND or gothic UNTO OTHERS. Finnish melodicists KALMAH will dig out of the dark swamps and the riders of the apocalypse in the form of VLTIMAS will also arrive.

A whole bunch of other bands will make their first visit to the fortress - popular industrial goths DEATHSTARS, heavy-rock-metal SOIL, honest and ruthless grindcore squad ESCUELA GRIND, brutally honest SVALBARD, 8-bit computer geniuses MASTER BOOT RECORD and YELLOW EYES with their solitude black metal. Black metal will be continued with folk psychedelia of HEXVESSEL and disharmonics AKHLYS.

🇨🇿 Přinášíme velkou brzkou vánoční nadílku, ve které si každý najde to své!

Na Brutal se po pěti letech vrátí death metaloví klasici Carcass. Spolu s nimi se můžete těšit i na pořádnou brutal death metalovou nálož od Cytotoxin, na grindcorové Pig Destroyer, death-grindové Rotten Sound či gotiky Unto Others. Z temných bažin se vyhrabou finští melodici Kalmah (Official) a přijedou také jezdci apokalypsy v podobě VLTIMAS.

Do pevnosti se poprvé podívá celá řada dalších kapel – populární industriální gotici Deathstars, heavy-rock-metaloví Soil, poctivá a nevraživá grindcore banda Escuela Grind, brutálně upřímní Svalbarduk, 8-bitoví počítačoví MASTER BOOT RECORD a Yellow Eyes se svým s solitude black metalem. V black metalu budou pokračovat se svou folkovou psychedelií Hexvessel a disharmonici Akhlys.

🇬🇧Four death metal names from four different subgenres!

Cynic the American "tech metallers" will bring a special Focus set to the fortress for the re-release of their iconic debut album. From Belgium will come death/goregrind hurricane Aborted, accompanied by American Misery Index with their mix of death-grind. The last but not less important addition to the line-up is the melodic Dark Tranquillity and their Gothenburg death metal.

🇬🇧 1️⃣3️⃣, that's how many new bands we're adding to the lineup ↗️

Among the most anticipated acts will definitely be the return of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER without Trevor (RIP). Death metal fans should also be pleased with the return of classics BROKEN HOPE, SKELETAL REMAINS, the slamming PARTY CANNON or the old-schools LIK and SNĚŤ.

After 10 years WHITECHAPEL will return, metalcore purists will be pleased with DARKEST HOUR, MENTAL CRUELTY will make the fortress ring with blackened deathcore, while GUILT TRIP with a mix of hardcore metal.

The last three bands in the update are Slovakian "crusters" ČAD, speed/heavy/thrash frontrunners EVIL INVADERS and KAMPFAR with their 30th anniversary set.

🇨🇿 1️⃣3️⃣, tolik nových kapel přidáváme do sestavy ↗️

Mezi nejočekávanější vystoupení bude určitě patřit návrat THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER v sestavě bez Trevora (RIP). Fanoušky death metalu by měl potěšit i návrat klasiků BROKEN HOPE, SKELETAL REMAINS, slamujících PARTY CANNON nebo oldschoolových LIK a SNĚŤ.

Po 10 letech se vrátí WHITECHAPEL, metalcorové puristy potěší DARKEST HOUR. MENTAL CRUELTY pevnost rozezní blackened deathcorem, zatímco GUILT TRIP mixem metalu hardcoru.

Poslední trojicí kapel v updatu jsou slovenští „crusteři“ ČAD, speed/heavy/thrash předáci EVIL INVADERS a KAMPFAR s výročním setem ke svým třicátinám.

🇬🇧 ️On Tuesday we will announce another batch of new bands, today we have a special bonus.
They haven't performed live in five years, and haven't appeared in the Fortress since 2016. They've always forged their own unique path to the previously unexpressed. And since they have a new album scheduled for May 2024, it's clear that we have to have them at Brutal 2024. Norwegian icon Satyricon🔱 in the summer after 8 years in the Fortress!

After a decade, we humbly welcome the mournful kings MY DYING BRIDE and the Swedish deathers VOMITORY. Next summer TERRORIZER will be playing one of the most iconic grindcore records "World Downfall", with Pete Sandoval and David Vincent!
Other returns to the fortress are JINJER, GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT and INCANTATION, while NECROT and the progressive BORN OF OSIRIS ⚖️ will make their Brutal debuts.
