It’s been two years since RG Floral opened its doors in Prague.
It’s been wonderful meeting everyone that has taken pleasure in our concept and has welcomed us.
Despite the pandemic that has changed everyone’s life, the lockdown, the mandatory precautions, we managed to stay open although it was an up and down ride. Yet we loved to see our regular customers stop by and chat about their plants and how it became an escape to the current situation, believe us, for us as well.
It has been an incredible journey but unfortunately, after two years of withstanding a pandemic, we can no longer withstand yet another obstacle. We recently received a notice of a raise in our rent, which of course was expected, but what we did not expect was a raise of more that 60% of the current rent we pay.
We are not fighting this time and have decided to close out doors. And although it seems like it now, we are convinced this farewell will only be temporarily.
We will take a pause, but will be actively looking for another location. One that will allow for our concept to continue to grow.
We are so thankful to everyone.
Also, since this will be our final week, we are having a closing SALE starting from today till Friday. We hope to have all if not most our plants go off to new homes, as we won’t have a place to keep them.
We hope to see you this last couple of days. And through this experience, we remain firm believers that life is truly better with flowers.. and of course, plants.
