Official statement regarding our tour package cancellation at Berlin Deathfest 2023!

Herewith i am officially cancelling our tourpackages appearance at Berlin Deathfest, they have received an e-mail prior by me.

Berlin Deathfest has been extremely unprofessional towards me in the past and is once again showing me that they are not someone you should work with!

In May my tour including Abysmal Torment, Molested Divinity and more bands was cancelled by them ONE WEEK prior to the event due to several reasons named by their side, that sounded legit at the start, but it all came across as bad excuses. The main thing in this situation was the lack of help, they cancelled the show and left me alone with the problem saying they would try to help me but they did NOTHING at all. I had to make several calls in Berlin (i live 6 hours from Berlin) with different venues to still make the show happen (by the way nobody from the Berlin Deathfest crew even attended the show, zero support).

Now the issue with the festival itself, after Snuffed On Sight dropped out of the tourpackage, Traumatomy stepped in to take their slot, after NO COMPLAINTS they added the band to the bill.
Two weeks later i received a mail, that Traumatomy is now allowed to play the festival due to the russian/ukranian conflict (the band got announced by them including the origin of the bands).
The reason for that seems to be a band on the bill complaining about a russian band playing this festival, Traumatomy immediately distanced themselves from anything connected to the incidence in Ukraine, when it started one year ago!
Russian citizens are not the ones to blame, everyone should understand this.

So the info they gave me was, that they will lower the agreed amount of payment, won't let Traumatomy play and step back from providing accommodation for the members of Traumatomy.
After financial damage being done in May, once again they are not giving me any other option than moving forward to another event.

Btw all the members of Berlin Deathfest i am friends with, which you might know too, have been dropping out of this festival one after the other, i guess for a good reason...
