BPM is back for round 2 of 2023 and whewww what a lineup! 😮‍💨
As always we have a mixture of incredible local and interational talent bringing a rainbow of rhythmic, high energy and all consuming beats to one of Berlin’s most iconic venues Tresor Berlin🌈

We have once again taken over the Globus floor and to help and we're joined: by Hannover-based experimental artist Coco Cobra 💜, SA native, Berlin localised ‘artist of a new African generation’ and head honcho of Afrikan Tales& Innervisions, Floyd Lavine 💛, one of the most executing talents in Gqom coming out of Amsterdam aka STATE OFFF🖤 and last but by no means least from Paris via Rabat, we will be blessed with the presence of techno futurist Glitter55💙.

BPM IS TONIGHT PEOPLE!🔌🔌🔌

And not that she needs much of an introduction, but say hola to the final addition to our lineup: BPM’s co-founding mama Juba Music. 🐵

As a child of the Nigerian diaspora🇳🇬, Juba is all about showcasing sounds from Africa and the African diaspora, with influences drawn from her UK upbringing and life experiences across Latin America and Europe.🌍🌎

She’s committed to using music as a conduit for exploring society and culture, with a particular focus on African and Global South narratives. 🗣
This is clear in projects like her 2020 documentary 'Assurance', which explored the experiences of female DJs in Nigeria and her subsequent Assurance Podcast series and compilation with expanded the topic to female DJs & Producers across the Global South.🔬

With a highly acclaimed mixes for the likes of HÖR and Boiler Room , plus her 'Mix Of The Year' for Fact Magazine, according to Resident Advisor, Juba is charachterised by her seamless genre blurring blends, ethervescent energy behind the decks and ability to bring a room to boiling point. 🥵🥵🥵

Say hallo to the next DJ on our line up aka RIP Swirl 🙌🏼
The enigmatic Berlin-based producer & DJ RIP Swirl exists at the solitary ends of experimental dance music. 🥷🏻

Since 2019 he’s been part of the Public Possession family and has shared the stage with the likes of Nosaj Thing & Ross From Friends. His productions have gathered acclaim from the likes of i-D, Highsnobiety & NOWNESS and his DJ sets have seen him play with the likes on Einhundert & Club Heart Broken to name but a few. 📀

RIP Swirl, is very much about showcasing his ability to make music beyond genre boundaries and we can’t wait for him to share his craft with us on Friday! 🪄

Time to say hi to Liliane Chlela, the absolute queen crowning our 27th Jan lineup.🦜

Liliane Chlela is a DJ, Producer, and performer from Beirut, who is known for pushing the boundaries of sound & movement across Lebanon, the Middle East/West Asia and North Africa. 🇱🇧

Widely known in electronic and experimental scenes for her unique, audacious and often improvisational approach to sound, as well as her interest in fashion film, audiovisuals and performance art, the now Montreal-based artist is lauded as one of the most multifaceted female artists across the Levant region. 🪄
Liliane has three highly acclaimed albums under her belt and has produced with the likes of Mashrou’ Leila’s Hamed Sinno & Khyam Allami, proving herself not just as a fierce solo artist, but as a prolific collaborator.⚔️

Dig deep inside Liliane Chlela’s music and you’ll find relentless, dark electronic beats, riveting club beats, percussive intensity and rhythms that represent all corners of the earth, with a departure point in the Middle East🌍. We really can’t wait for her to charm one of Berlin's principal dancefloors next week. 👑

Say hi to Bloomfeld🦇

Bloomfeld is a DJ & Producer who researches & documents innovative momentums across all domains of cultural production.

His own music, digital art, and performance aim at expanding the intersection of ethno-futurist braindance and functional/hedonistic club heat.🧠

Bloomfeld also runs the Overthinker Mob research imprint💭, among many other missions, which rejects conventional formats for releasing music by anonymously putting out unfinished or overthought tracks.

When he isn’t subverting music industry standards, he dedicates himself to radio projects in Germany and the UK, and has held a residency on Rinse FM with his “Culture vs. Reality“ show. 📡

To Bloomfeld existence is a cosmic joke, but while he’s here he’s committed to making sense of it through music. 🧩

BPM at Tresor Berlin is tonight!🌚. We can’t wait to party with you all on the Globus floor!

So last but by no means least we’re introing the final addition to the lineup aka our co-founder Juba Music musical sisterhood aka Boko Boko! 🐻🐵🐱

Known for their eclectic and energising blend of club sounds from around the world, Boko! Boko! has been throwing parties and tearing up UK dancefloors since 2015🇬🇧.
With parties hosted at the likes of Peckham Audio, Tola Peckham, Colour Factory and Tate, Boko! Boko!, which consists of Tash LC, Mina and Juba has been a staple in London’s bubbling global club scene.🧪
This year they set Glastonbury Festivals alight with their debut set at The Stonebridge Bar and the are primed to continue electrifying dancefloors both inside and out of the UK, kicking off with their EU debut tomorrow night!💥

Assyouti is amongst the rising generation of Egyptian Producers/DJs that has been gaining attention of late🇪🇬. Whilst making his name in his new home of Berlin, he remains one of the most distinctive, unapologetic voices in Cairo’s music scene, standing out due to his high-energy aggression and versatile track selections that flow between Bass, Footwork, Jungle, Hard Dance & Deconstructed Club + more. 🌋

Despite being just 21, he’s already racked up multiple appearances on HÖR, NTS Radio Rinse France, Reprezent Radio & Radio Alhara راديو الحارة. 📡

Either in the middle of the day or in the middle of the night, Valesuchi distinctly translates over a decade of sonic research into otherworldly musical journeys that have captivated crowds worldwide from Sónar Festival to Dekmantel, Flow Festival Helsinki & more 🌓

By choosing body movement as her guide, Valesuchi rides the rhythm until there’s not much ice left to melt.🌊

Never a complacent digger, her style has come from her background in Santiago’s risky gatherings and from the lessons learnt at the uncomparable raves she’s
played all over Brazil. She chose Rio de Janeiro as her homebase in 2017, a place where techno, funk, desire and danger coexist. 🇨🇱🇧🇷

Neana, who was a pivotal player in Manchester’s club crucible during the mid-late 20teens as part of Gang Fatale, is a now firmly Berlin based DJ and Producer and co-founder of Berlin's label and party series Infinite Quest . 👾

Neana's sound speaks to the contemporary, meta flux of vintage and modern club styles with references from dancehall, breakbeat,
dembow and techno.🔱

Having collaborated musically with the likes of AUCO and quest?onmarq, 2022 saw the release of his restlessly fierce EP 'Effigies‘, exhibiting Neana's 'magpie style'.☄️

Hello BPM Fam!
We are so excited to announce our lineup.🥳

BPM aka Beats Power Movement is landing in Tresor Berlin on the 2nd Sept and we're kicking off with a stellar lineup.
Co-founder Juba Music is debuting BPM with a b2b2b with her high energy UK collective Boko Boko (Tash LC & Mina) 💃🏾🏋🏽‍♀️🧚🏻‍♀️and Chile's Valesuchi, is in town and blessing Tresor with her sonic exploration from Funk to Techno and everything in between✨.

Berlin residents Neana and Assyouti are also in the mix. UK native, Berlin based Neana is set to display his expert blend of rhythms from Dembow to Dancehall and Breakbeat🌪️ and Egyptian born & raised, now Berlin based Assyouti will be bringing his mind blowing blend of Arabic and North African influences, with the likes of Footwork and DnB to the Globus playground.🌶️

Say hi to BPM the new club night powered by Juba Music & Savy von dem Lean on Tresor’s Globus Floor! 💥

Beats Power Movement aka BPM is a night where great music, undeniably great DJs and inescapably great energy move together on the dancefloor.
The outside world is left right at the door and we converge in the centre in shared moments of sonic induced euphoria. 🤍

With an emphasis on sounds emanating from the Global South, BPM will move Berlin through stimulating worlds of electronic music. Music is the glue that brings us together and progressive, community focused, empowering values are undeniably interwoven into the fabric of the night. 🤝

BPMovers will share sweat, joy and musical memories. Music first, but it’s more than just music.🎶
