Restless Kitten Booking is a non-commercial DIY project by Berlin based female drummer Lucy Kaewprasert and her friends. When touring across the UK, the States and Europe, Lucy met fantastic musicians and experienced great support from the music community everywhere. Restless Kitten Booking aims to give this support back to the bands she has met along the way, while handling a professional and friendly attitude.

TOMAR CONTROL
(Lima / Peru)

Tomar Control, a hardcore band from Lima/PERU, active since 2014, aiming at more representation of female-identifying folks in a space normally occupied mostly by men, the hardcore scene.

With a clear and direct message focusing on social and personal issues, addressing Feminism, P.M.A. , Veganism, Straight Edge and the rejection of any kind of discrimination, rescuing the rawest and most direct sounds of hardcore from the late 80's and 90's.

TOMAR CONTROL has already toured Argentina and Chile in 2016, Mexico in March 2022 and often plays in Lima, sharing the stage with well-known bands from their local and South American scene.

Their debut album "Lo Que Llevamos Dentro" (2015) was released by several South American Record labels, as well as a 7" Split with the band Spirits (USA), not to mention they took part of a worldwide
compilation of emerging hardcore bands released also on 7” vinyl.

In 2018 they released a long-awaited second album titled "Nunca más callar", released on all music platforms in January 2019, and later released by Germany's Amok Records on 12", massively reviewed in different parts of the world with very positive reviews.

In 2023 TOMAR CONTROL released the EP “INCENDIARIA”, 4 furious political songs, mixed and mastered by Don Fury from New York. In July and August of that same year the band went on their first European run, passing by Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain.

Still in 2024, the band will embark on their first Brazilian tour, for a series of 14 concerts, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Minas Gerais and Santa Catarina state.

TOMAR CONTROL will be back in Europe on summer 2025, following the release of their upcoming new album, to be released by REFUSE RECORDS.

01.06.2025 WORKSHOP Hey, I like your band/venue/festival: A Guide to DIY Touring for Independent Artists with TV Moms & Restless Kitten Booking - at Holding Space Festival, Neue Zukunft, Berlin

There is a bunch of cool stuff happening from 30th May - 1st June 2025 at the Holding Space Festival at Neue Zukunft Stralau. I highly recommend that you check it out on their socials, because I can't fully reciprocate what will be going on. However, I'm honoured, that I have been invited to say some valuable and smart things on DIY touring with TV Moms from New York City. If you want to or are booking shows for your band, I think it could give you some clever insights on how to start or on how to improve the process.

22.05.2025 Charity show for ABC Kultur at ABC Kultur, Berlin

The 'ABC' in Hirschgarten is an important and unique venue in Köpenick with an eventful history. Until 2012, it provided a platform for young bands and many artistic talents. The popular East Berliner band 'CITY' performed here for the first time in 1972. But theatre, choir and dance groups also found a home here. Then, in 2012, Berlin's “red pencil”-policy put an abrupt end to the colorful events. The building stood empty for over 10 years.

During covid, some committed people came up with the idea of reviving this place and the large hall. It took over 2 years to obtain a new operating license for the hall. Many people helped and
are now involved in offering a varied program for children, young people, young families and ALL generations.
In doing so, we are building on what the 'ABC' used to do with different formats: a "young stage" - a platform for music and young art, theatre performances and puppet shows, readings, children's parties and exhibitions.

This is currently only possible thanks to the voluntary commitment of many people, clubs in Köpenick, youth facilities and above all through charity shows by bands (from folk, rock to ska and jazz) that perform for the benefit of the ABC.

In jüngerer Zeit:
2023 erscheint „Die Welt steht still“, ein Album, das die Spannungen, Umwälzungen, die schiere Erstarrtheit des Anfangs der 20er Jahre in Klang und Wort setzt. Ein Meilenstein für die Band.
Und doch folgt schon im Juli 2024 die nächste Veröffentlichung der neuen EP „1998“.
Ein live eingespieltes, vor Energie strotzendes Werk aus vier Liedern, das Momente und Eindrücke der persönlichen und allgemeinen Vergangenheit beschreibt und versucht diese im Spiegel der Gegenwart zu betrachten. Heimat, Reise,
Kindheit, Jugend, weltliche Ereignisse und die ureigensten Erinnerungen daran.

Im Jahre 2025 ist Niki Neun das Solo-Projekt von Arndt N..

ARA LIL YOON

Ara Lil Yoon are a Maltese/British Post-Punk band based in Berlin. Mixing fuzzy guitar lines and urban wordsmithery, their debut album Triboulet pushes into aggressive Mediterranean waters, where high-energy rhythms and English poetry meet in symphonic play. Expect a lot of sweat, a lot of dancing, and a lot of noise.

JackDupon is a trio with bass, drums, guitar, and vocals, who convey their music with ritualistic poetry and fragments of fractal motifs in mosaic form. One could characterize this music as minimalist rock à la Shellac, psychedelic, avant-garde, or Rock in Opposition, but the band rejects all these influences, embracing freedom and the need to respect no stylistic rules as their way of being, to create an instrumental ritual in which listeners are guided by falsely innocent or fragile bubbles of singing.

One could still mention Fred Frith, Primus, King Crimson, Zappa, Etron Fou Leloublan, The Ex, and aggressive atmospheres reminiscent of The Birthday Party (Nick Cave). One could talk about soundscapes, dancing traces, Oulipo-inspired poetry, angry breaks, and changes of mood, with twisted mastery and the ability to make opposing rhythms dance. An ultra-prolific band, since 2004, JackDupon has shared their moods across the four corners of the world, met and connected with people during their tours and through their ten or so albums.

❤️ I love men ❤️ - but would really like to book one or two shows also for female/queer acts or bands who have at least one of them involved in their projects.

Front Porch Beatnik is an alternative rock music trio from Berlin. Leadsinger Christian Schidlowski, bassist Dr Leben and drummer Lucy Kaewprasert play songs sometimes powerful, sometimes melancholic, reflecting the world in a warm but deliberately distorted and simple sound. The deeply personal lyrics deal with themes such as friendship, nostalgic memories and life in a world plastered with ambiguities. Influences come from Bands such as Pixies, Eels, Beck and The Velvet Underground.
