ELSDEER

Elsdeer, the musical moniker of Denise Dombrowski, is causing ripples in the lively heartbeat of Berlin's songwriter scene. A genuine multi-instrumentalist, Elsdeer's musical journey unfolds like a symphony, influenced by diverse cultures and encounters. She has left an indelible imprint on captivated audiences in California, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Thailand, and Japan.

Glyders

Formed in Chicago in 2013 by partners Josh Condon and Eliza Weber, Glyders make maximal minimal rock and roll with nocturnal mystery pulsing in the mix, cutting above rigorous roadhouse fare with sounds that twist and grind on their classic inspirations. Joined by Joe Seger on drums, Glyders’ high lonesome way is mellow but nervy, hip-shaking and deep – a multicolored trip to the ongoing beat of American weirdness. Greetings from the Dutch coast!
I have been spending the past few days in the Netherlands and today, we also rode our bikes to the sea, Dutch style, of course 🚲☺️🐟

I'm heading to Antwerp to see IDLES tonight! Haven't been to a bigger show in a while and I've had a huge crush on them for the past nine months, so I am super excited ❤️‍🔥

As for shows, I think I have been able to spread a few good vibes and happiness with the past ones I put up, so I will start to set up some new shows at the end of the month. So, the bands I am planning to work with (you know who you are) will hear from me soon!

As for myself, I miss being on the road a lot and I am slowly starting to put out my feelers to find a new partner in crime for a two-piece to go on adventures again.

KAT KOAN

KAT KOAN is a musical chameleon, mixing electroclash with rock and continuously adding surprising elements to her live shows. She expresses outspoken zeitgeisty messages and intense emotions wrapped in - and elevated by - a badass sound.

Her debut album LUSTPRINZIP was mixed by Dean Hurley, who is best known for his work as David Lynch's Sound Supervisor. Rose White

Rose White is a London based singer songwriter whose playful pop/soul/funk grooves mix with infectious hooks and empowering energy.
Wrapping her husky voice, that has drawn comparisons to Duffy, Amy Winehouse and Sia, around the full range of emotions, Rose wants to speak openly about the topics we all think about, but are afraid to say out loud.
Polish born Rose, an ex pro ballroom dancer and a law student, arrived in London aged 20 with 300 pounds, 2 suitcases and 0 connections. Working her way up the ladder on the open mic circuit, eventually headlining clubs with her band, she released her debut EP ‘One Fourth Mark’ in 2022 to glowing reviews and placements on editorial playlists.

250cc is a French-Italo arty pop-rock duo based in Berlin. The drum-guitar duo combines pop-rock, power-pop, and krautrock, with on top 2 vocals, often in harmony, bringing a dreamy vibe to the
rock machine.
After releasing its first single “The Other side”, the duo played its first gigs in Mexico in January 2023, and a European tour in October 2023.
The identity of 250cc comes together non-only with a unique live performance, but also with its self-made videos through which the duo shares its creativity.

How Yes No is a post punk/art punk/wave power trio from Zagreb, Croatia. Their songs, short, funky, p***y, chaotic and straight to the point are reminiscent of Minuteman, Gang of Four, Lithics, Duds, Uranium club and so on. The band itself was formed during lockdown in 2020 but the band members are seasoned street cats of the DIY/punk scene. The real life was given to the band in 2022 when the EP ''Small talk'' was released along with the music video for the song ''Under the rug''. They are very active with touring and are on the road for a few times a year. If you like being confused and amused, check them out!

LLANA
Indie pop, progressive and math rock band Llana consists of singer Celso, drummer Thomas, guitarist Ilja and bassist Joe. By now they know that their former teachers were right when they said that math would sooner or later catch up to them in life.

Llana was founded in 2022 and released their debut
EP 'Traverse’ in April 2023. The members’ musical experiences span several continents and decades, enriching their sound by a multitude of layers. Live experience of the members ranges from playing in music festivals, live houses and bars, to touring across countries.

First of all, notes to myself: I can hold an event together when it feels like it is all falling apart. Very proud! Secondly, I really need to start taking photos and media because I took four photos last night and they are all rubbish 😅
There was some good footage floating around at Instagram after the event, though. I'm afraid I have just been too busy to dig through all of it.

It was a wonderful night on Thursday and from what people have been telling me, they had a sincere great night as well.

Thank you to my band Niki Neun who brought all the backline to the venue and back and gave me pizza to survive.
Thank you to Third Mind for stepping in spontaneously AND helping me to run the event. Especially, Niko, you're an absolute star 🌟

Thank you to Tom Ende for coming all this way from Hamburg, just to find this chaotic mess and still be super supportive about everything. It was great to have you around and can't wait to see you play with your full band!

Thank you to Bróna Keogh for also showing up spontaneously and being so humble to play an electric guitar instead of a semi acoustic.

Thank you to all the people who showed up and supported all these amazing musicians. Also, thank you to the members of CORP. who still showed up to the event as guests. I appreciate this gesture very much!
And thank you for all the messages that I got from everyone to find replacement acts.

Very sadly, CORP. had to drop out at short notice for tonight. They have good reasons for it and sometimes things happen that are out of our control.

I was able to find some acts who are willing to play at such sort notice and I am very grateful for this, thank you 😍

Tom Ende, Indie Rock Band from Hamburg, Post Hamburger Schule.
Tom Ende founded his two-man post-punk band, indie stuff, noise, pop or something, in 2007.
They are unsigned and stay in the underground / punk scene in Hamburg.
They play their gigs with high energy, loud and noisy.
Pascal Fuhlbrügge (Kolossale Jugend/Hamburger Schule) mastered some of their songs.
In 2011 they split up. Markus Meister played the Tom Ende songs -solo- in the next years.
In 2018 Tom Ende started again as a band, with new members.

Tom Ende is connected with musicians from all over the world, played together with The Long Knives, Trent Miller, Spiral Feathers, Sanguine Sea, Andrea Schroeder, Farmen, Stuntcat, Safi, Creams, The Ambient Noise, Henrik de Strain, R.J. Schlagseite, Guts, Rudi Raschberger, The Diztones, Joana Maria, Rebecca Lou, Acid Knarf Rellöm,...Surveillance Module, Tan LeRacoon & Racoonery....

We are delighted to have TOM ENDE from Hamburg at our stage at LARK this Thursday, 14th Sep. He will play a solo set for us and we are excited! 😊
