Somehow FLUID FORM CLUB always feels like some sort of ceremony, and it couldn't have been more encapsulated by - and these photos by of their entrancing and euphoric performance at FFC #6. In the oasis of freedom that is .berlin the collective whole is the MC (Master of Ceremonies) and are the instigators. Squashed in together we become one fluid form that spills back out onto the Berlin streets afterwards, understanding why it all exists after all.

Continuing with the supernatural, on September 28th we invite .official : the largest number of musicians on stage, yet. With an intensity capable of shaking all your brain cavities...

JUST LIKE THE SUN, WE ARE BACK! This time we have some glimmering joy for you in the form of 13Year Cicada on June 8th.

Together, Zooey, Hotti and Philipp create the sound of a carefully planned riot. They hack their instruments, explode their rhythms and euphorically twist the plot of every song.

PoiL Ueda is the meeting of two universes, the first half is the volatile French experimentalists who slice things up with ultra precision and season it with distorted joy. Once you're in PoiL's dimension nothing can be predicted and yet everything makes sense.

The other side of this twinning is vocalist and master of the Satsuma Bima - Junko Ueda. Trained in traditional and classical Japanese musics, she's also a wayward explorer who guides the music with buddhist chants and ancient epic tales, sung with the depth of a mythical legend.

This epic concert will not be televised or recorded, there will only be stories to pass onto your great grandchildren, or to future folk, so we hope you can be there on November 10th to hear this wild collaboration at FLUID FORM CLUB #5 in Kantine am Berghain. Hosted by Witch 'n' Monk

A line of people right out onto the street for crazy new music? Ach Berlin, what can we say?!! Once more we were full from the top of the stairs right down to the cymbal stands by the door. What an insane night - the madness from the stage, mirrrored by your energy in the audience...these nights give us so much euphoric hope. There is nothing more joyous than the fact that you come every time with your curiosity and wild positivity, to experience this music which is all about the present moment, taking risks and thrusting you into the new.

We are so glad you could experience Tatsuya Yoshida and Kazuhisa Uchihashi: 2 legendary masters of totally original music, who have been an inspiration to so many of us for so many years. What an honour to have them at the FLUID FORM CLUB.

Thankfully there's only 2 months til the next one. Massive LOVE to everyone who was there making the room buzz and see you again soon.

This gentle Buddha of the Japanese and Berlin underground music scene can pull off the beefiest riffs and then swiftly recreate the final gurgles of a operatic contralto as she is swallowed by a loony with digestive disorders. An absolute modern master of his instrument, and always totally surprising, kahe joins drummer Tatsuya Yoshida for a unique performance at FLUID FORM CLUB #4: Tatsuya Yoshida/Kazuhisa Uchihashi x Witch 'n' Monk on September 6th.

Meet Tatsuya Yoshida who is a bit like a key to an alternate universe where time is constantly and manically stretched and where the melodies and riffs sound like a hyperactive conversation between prophetic children. We first discovered Tatsuya's dimension via his duos Ruins and Sax Ruins where drums and sax, or drums and bass explode lightspeed phrases in ever changing combinations, which prepared us for Koenji Hyakkei - a larger ensemble with an opera singer at the hull of the ship, making it sound like someone set the stravinsky vinyl at the wrong speed. Oh, by the way, this is music with a strong sense of humour, but since he usually sings in nonsense languages the comedy is pretty universal.

FLUID FORM CLUB #4 is going to be a pretty special one. Tatsuya Yoshida is an absolute pioneer from the Japanese underground music scene. Drummer and founder of infamously insane projects like Ruins, Koenji Hyakkei 高円寺百景 and Sax Ruins, his music splices together worlds at lightspeed, with surgical precision and uncompromisingly wild energy.

He will play in the Cho-Sokkyo duo with explosive guitarist Kazuhisa Uchihashi who is also one of the few musicians on earth who play the daxophone - a bizarre bowed wooden instrument that produces a sound somewhere between Eric Dolphy and a howling dog.

We will also have the insanely talented video animator and artist on improvised live video

What a way to sign off for a few months!!!! FLUID FORM CLUB #3 was full of riotous joy. Thank you to everyone who came and filled up ausland right up to the door, almost having to sit on the stage. We are still euphoric from the depth of sound, precision and p***y magnificence of Pili Coït. For us - Witch 'n' Monk - it was a sublime feeling, merging our sound world with theirs and hosting you beautiful people.

We will now take a summer break and are back again on September 6 with infamous Japanese drummer Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins, Koenji Hyakkei) in raucous duo 'Cho-Sokkyo' with explosive guitarist Kazuhisa Uchihashi

We couldn't even have imagined how perfect these 3 nights would be and we love you all. Keep loving passionate new music that cannot be categorised and must be experienced live. See you all again in the Autumn!

We discovered Pili Coït via the amazing Lyon collective Dur et Doux - a scene of highly original, deeply musical, genre-defiant artists, many of whom we adore. Whether it's the wild energy of PoiL, the raucous fusion of UKANDANZ or the insanity of CHROMB, we just love the energy of so many bands that form part of the Dur et Doux community.

Pili Coït are no exception. We adore their weird structures, unique timbre and depth of their musicianship. Their sound is an ever evolving entity; an unclassifiable percussion set, with its bass tom, oil can and its low-fi synth-drum, accompanied by a guitar with twice as many strings as it should have. It is as if Jeff Buckley offered us a tea ceremony during a Portishead incantation. It's like a tête-à-tête between Nina Hagen and Nick Drake at the top of a Ferris wheel.

They released their latest album 'Make Love Everywhere' on SKiN GRAFT Records in 2022.

There will also be something unique about FLUID FORM CLUB #3: Pili Coït x Witch 'n' Monk: both acts are couples who create music together. Maybe you'll sense some of that telephathy, or the intimacy, or the euphoria of playing with your best friend and the person who knows you the most deeply.

THANK YOU to all you beautiful people who packed out ausland again on Saturday night. It was a night where somehow the planets coincided in a perfect fusion of deep sound, intricacy, openness and transcendental visuals. Of course these Fluid Form Club nights are designed to be experienced live so you'll have to be there next time to get the bass in your face but here are some memories.

Pulled by Magnets got all our guts and souls with their visceral and deeeeeeep music, 𝙂𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙤 was a genius merging improvised moving image to all our sounds. We - Witch 'n' Monk - loved hosting you and can't wait for the next one on May 6.
