HØJE JONAS and THE HIP DIMENSION (DK)

The The Sonic Dawn Jonas (drums) and Emil (vocals/guitar) are playing a special guest DJ set as Høje Jonas and The Hip Dimension—the DJ duo’s first appearance in Berlin.

Time for a «hip» replacement?
The Hip Dimension has got you covered with all things groovy. The Danish word Høje [ˈhʌjə] translates to loud, tall and high—all of which describe Høje Jonas’ style.

Expect a psychedelic set full of secret hallucinogenic powers and forbidden rhythms, brought to you from Copenhagen’s underground.

All good things are three and so is the next of our guest DJs: welcome from Zurich, the wonderful Mor Lok☄️

,,I’m Raffael aka Mor-Lok from Zurich and looking super forward to spin some tunes for you and dance through the night with you all. With my brother from another mother Gigi I’m part of the Perfect Prescriptions DJ-Team, spinning & collecting since nearly ten years, after my teenage brain got baptized in fuzz & twang at the Munich’s legendary and defunct Atomic Club. Then there was Back from the Grave, the usual suspects and I started a journey which many of you know too good I bet. I never came back since, digging and collecting avidly. I’ll serve you crude & twangy Garage. The more wry and out of tune, the better is the thing I live for. But excpect also good doses of beat, YéYé & Psychedelia.’’

The Big LeBode is a Frankfurt based psychhead who loves spinning records. Always searching for rarities and under-the-radar delicacies in garage, psych and freakbeat as well as soul and funk to create a menu on the decks while sharing them with his fellow Massimo most of the time with whom he began his musical journey. He has played in different venues and parties in germany, searching for a good crowd and lots of fun while cooking up something for you.

The first Guest DJ post is here and it’s no other than Maxim aka Electric Jungs himself 🌙

Hailing from Cologne, Germany, Maxim aka Massimo started spinning records in his early twenties.
He is rooted in genres such as Psychedelic, Prog, Garage and Soul from the 60‘s and early 70‘s and different revival sounds. He loves the joy and drama these styles reflect, their organic vibrancy.
Mostly teamed up with his best mate Leo he participated at events such as Shake Appeal Cologne, Garageville Hamburg and Up Club Frankfurt.
Maxim loves wild moving crowds and is looking forward to find one in Berlin.

So very excited to announce our support act for May: welcome the amazing GO MAHHH 🪐💫

What if motorik mantras, loud fuzz and jazzy beats would be tied together, soaked in a vat of Jameson, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, then taken outside and dragged with a Trabi on one of these uneven DDR autobahn? Then you’d have GO MAHHH, complete with interstellar grooves at maximum overdrive.

GO MAHHH are a Berlin-based five-piece band of international musicians who have been making a name for themselves in the local psych-rock scene. Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Minami Deutsch and Phoenician Drive are among the bands who GO MAHHH have supported on their journey and they have most recently landed a spots at Desertfest Berlin and Void Fest sharing the stage with the very best that the stoner and psych rock genres have to offer. In November 2024, the band capped off the year with a nomination for Best Artist at the Listen to Berlin awards and a performance at Most Wanted Music Berlin Showcase.

Blown away by their Liveshows this is definitely something you shouldn’t miss! ✨

Here comes the first band introduction and so happy to host The Sonic Dawn as main act on this edition for a truly psychedelic evening🌛

The Sonic Dawn is an exciting psychedelic trio from Copenhagen. Their music blends soulful vocals, swirling guitar leads, and hypnotic grooves into a sound that is both timeless and unpredictable.

“As if The Beatles had reinvented themselves as a blues band in their psychedelic phase,” as one reviewer put it.

With five albums and over 250 concerts behind them, The Sonic Dawn has captivated audiences all over Europe, often turning shows into full-blown dance freakouts.

Such an amazing start of this years first event edition,it was once more packed,sold out and you all stayed to dance the night away 💫
