Thank you and Merry Christmas to all the wonderful, talented, hard working and amazingly creative professionals I have had the absolute fortune and joy to work with this year, and over the years. Many of you I have met for the first time this year, but it has also been so awesome to meet again those who have been with me on this journey for quite a long time! You have given me joy, inspiration, support and encouragement and you give couples the very very best of your skills and talents, along with so many other wonderful qualities - it has been a huge privilege to stand with you all. I know you know who you are. Thank you for a wonderful year, and for all the memories we have made in the past, and those we shall make in the future. Have a restful, peaceful cosy and comforting Christmas and recharge your batteries, for 2025!

Finally, after their first look and a short trip, the couple arrived at their ceremony venue - a breathtaking lake in the Bernese Oberland! Seriously, we have never seen an elopement spot in Switzerland more fitting for adventurous couples than this scenic lake!

These images of their wedding day are filled with joy and so much love! The setting in such a beautiful chateau above Lake Lucerne was absolutely stunning!

I truly do love to include a Unity Candle Ceremony in my weddings or elopements at this time of year when darkness and gloom seems to settle quickly.

My couples always bring their own personalised candles and I write a short but meaningful blessing for this ritual.

It’s just such a beautiful way to evoke so many emotions and ask for warmth and light to always surround these two precious hearts.

Eeek we are coming up to the last few days of 2024 and I wanted to send some love to my 2025 couples! You’re not just in my diary, you’re in my head and in my heart and can’t wait to create a ceremony that will live on in your happy memories!

There was so much magic the day of Erica and William’s wonderful Elopement at this spectacular lake in Switzerland! Taking the cable car and then a shuttle ride to and from the ceremony space was amazing, as was standing with them and delivering a heart centred ceremony! Thank you all for your trust and congratulations again on your special day!

E and W wanted the privacy of a small ceremony with the magic of epic scenery and nature surrounding them, and bearing witness to their love story!

It was an amazing experience to walk with them from their hotel, give them their first look, then join them on the cable car and then the shuttle train down to this pristine lake, Öschinensee for their ceremony!

With the mountains all around us we held space for their loved ones, and performed traditional and modern rituals together which strengthened their bond and became a part of their memories and their adventure!

Congratulations E and W and wishing you both the best in the years ahead!

A poignant moment to reflect. How many lives have been lost. For a peace that has lasted and yet we know it can never be taken for granted.

As a child of a British career military soldier and the daughter of a German widow whose husband and brother died on German soil these commemorative moments give me cause to thank those whose bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten, to think about the world as it is now with a war for freedom being waged not too far away and what this means for those at the front line and the displaced families, and trying so hard to hope that peace can be found in my lifetime. ❤️
