Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary to V and C who tied the knot in beautiful fashion at Schwangau, overlooking the white snowcapped hills around the Castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein.

The Bride and Groom are keen skiers and winter sport enthusiasts and so this white and frosty landscape gave them so much joy too!

V wore a specially designed beautiful Wedding Dirndl dress with a stunning lace apron and wore a beautiful green woollen cape to keep warm!

They chose to perform three rituals during the ceremony. A beer blending, a Handtying and an adorable “retying the Apron” because when a single woman marries, she ties her apron bow to sit over her right hip instead of her left. C helped V in untying her apron and retied the bow for her as a symbol of her marriage. It was a charming and powerful gesture.

Two years later it’s wonderful recall this amazing day, and a privilege to witness their journey since. I am delighted to congratulate them both, and wish them continued happiness in the future!

Another absolutely gorgeous wedding - with an outdoor ceremony and hand tying which Mallory and Dillon absolutely aced! So happy to have been a part of their day which was filled with laughter and joy! Notwithstanding a fabulous Conga line to the lakeside!

A and J brought a close circle of friends to share in the beautiful Bavarian wedding at Lake Riessersee, a stunning glacial lake in view of Germanys highest mountain “Zugspitze” which has an elevation 2962 metres.

In this beautiful romantic setting with epic scenes around them they made their forever promises. It was emotional. It was personal. It was an honour and a pleasure to witness their love. Their guests took part too with a ring warming where they passed their loving energy into them, and in the future A and J will recall these precious moments whenever they happen to glance down at them.

I am so grateful for their trust in allowing me to create a script they hadn’t read and heard on their wedding day for the very first time.

We finished up with a certificate signing and then walked down to the lake house for cake and champagne!

Happy Saturday to my follower ;) A bit of a personal post to share with you this frosty Saturday!

As a bilingual Celebrant, having lived in Germany now for 7 years, I am finding it really funny that my English is now becoming more "German" and I guess this is down to all of the exposure, reading, still practising using Duolingo and becoming more fluent I guess? Anyone else who is finding this too?

And don't get me started with my "Denglish" which does pop up when I am struggling for that new German (or even the actual English ) word!

It was really vexing me recently as more and more prejudice is clearly on the horizon and as such I just wanted to say out loud that I am totally here for all couples to have the ceremony they want and dream about.

Happy Tuesday! Excited to share that this will be the fabulous location of my first wedding of 2025 !! I have visited this stunning castle several times in the past years, and often watched as other wedding couples were having their photos taken in the grounds, and dreamed about being there myself one day, as their Celebrant, delivering a beautiful emotional ceremony filled with love and laughter!

I’m so looking forward to meeting R and C and their families, and delivering their unique ceremony at this stunning venue next month!

Many of you I have met for the first time this year, but it has also been so awesome to meet again those who have been with me on this journey for quite a long time! You have given me joy, inspiration, support and encouragement and you give couples the very very best of your skills and talents, along with so many other wonderful qualities - it has been a huge privilege to stand with you all. I know you know who you are. Thank you for a wonderful year, and for all the memories we have made in the past, and those we shall make in the future.
