Heute zeigen wir euch ein wichtiges Gerät aus unserem Shop. Den Kabeltester. Er wurde in Amerika in Lititz von Mike Keller hergestellt, nachdem er alle Arten von Kabeln von uns bekommen hat. Hier findet eine Funktionsprüfung aller Kabel nach jedem Einsatz bei Jobs statt.
Er enthält auch den Schuko-Stecker, den es in Amerika und UK nicht gibt. Alle Mitarbeiter wurden eingewiesen und können den Kabeltester bedienen.

Seit wann arbeitest du bei BBM I CLAIR?

Ich bin seit September 2023 Teil des Teams und war vorher als Projektleiter in Hamburg tätig. Schon vorher war mein Themenschwerpunkt Beschallungstechnik.

Was sind deine Aufgaben in der Firma?

Bei BBM I CLAIR bin ich als Projektleiter tätig und betreue Kunden vom Projektstart bis zum Ende. Das heißt: ich unterstütze das Sales-Team bei der Projektvorbereitung, mache Fachplanung, unterstützte bei den Vorbereitungen und Proben im Shop – fahre aber auch zu den Projekten raus und bin vor Ort bei den Kunden im Einsatz.

Was sind deine Hobbies?

Ich spiele seit vielen Jahren Schlagzeug und ich singe. Ansonsten gehe ich gerne laufen und Fahrrad fahren.

Seit wann arbeitest du bei BBM I CLAIR?

Ich habe mich schon immer für Elektronik und Musik interessiert. Also habe ich auch fast ausschliesslich in diesen Bereichen gearbeitet. Ob als Freelancer (Lichttechniker) oder angestellt im Service für Elektronische Geräte, immer habe ich irgendwas mit Musik zu tun gehabt.
Bei BBM I CLAIR arbeite ich jetzt seit Mai, war aber schon einmal vor ca. 10 Jahren bei BBM tätig.

Was sind deine Aufgaben in der Firma?

Ich bin für die elektrische Sicherheit und Funktion der elektrischen Anlagen im Hause sowie des Mietmaterials zuständig.

Was sind deine Hobbies?

Es gibt kaum etwas Besseres, als sein Hobby zum Beruf machen zu können.

Was möchtest du der Welt mitteilen?

Es gibt kein Schwarz und kein Weiss, aber unendlich Farben und Grautöne.

MEET THE CREW:
Matt Giusti

How long have you been working at BBM//CLAIR?

I joined the team on March 1st 2023. Prior to joining I’ve been working mostly in Live Broadcast as a freelance audio and communications engineer. Before that I was employed by Riedel Communications GmbH as a motorsport solution handling intercom and radio in various applications while on the road with Formula One.

What are your responsibilities in the company?

In the RF Comms department we’re handling a wide range of applications, some typical tasks involve building and configuring stage RG systems for in-ear monitoring and wireless microphones as well as coordinating frequency deployments. We’re also supporting clients by providing show critical communication systems from two way radios to complex intercom systems.

What are your hobbies?

Like most in the industry I have a penchant for gear! I enjoy tinkering with electronics and will happily spend building and dismantling guitar pedals. 🎸

What do you want to share with the world?

I’m proud to be working alongside the Clair team! Also looking forward to contributing and giving back to the live industry and expressing my gratitude and thanks for all the experiences, people and jobs that have brought me this far. ✌🏼☮️

Ich bin seit Januar 2023 dabei, also noch ganz neu im Unternehmen.

Was sind deine Aufgaben in der Firma?

Bei BBM | Clair arbeite ich in Teilzeit im Front Office. Ich kümmere mich hier um die administrativen Dinge, begrüße unsere Kunden, unterstütze das Team und die Produktionen bei ihren Vorbereitungen für die Touren.

Was sind deine Hobbies?

Meine Freizeit verbringe sehr gern am Meer mit Kitesurfen oder auf Konzerten und Festivals. 🌊🏄‍♀️🪩

Was möchtest du der Welt mitteilen?

Wie gefällt euch der neue Aufzug in unserer Halle 1? So haben wir jetzt einen einfachen und schnellen Zugang zu den Etagen im Hochregal. Dies wird die Sicherheit in der Halle verbessern und uns helfen, beim Ein- und Ausladen Zeit zu sparen.

Aleksei Mironov

How long have you been working at BBM I CLAIR?

I joined BBM I Clair in mid-summer 2022 as the head of the Cable & Distro department.
Having built a big and very successful audio&backline company in another country from scratch and managed it for 15 years, the new position was a bit of a step back for me. But understanding the opportunities that open up at Clair, it was time for me to join the team. Knowing that hard work pays off, I prefer to say yes to new opportunities.

What are your responsibilities in the company?

The cable and distro world involves a lot of activity, so my everyday duties are comprehensive and include everything related to the preparations, ensuring we deliver the best quality service to our clients. I am also responsible for keeping the department running, which includes asset management and a lot of planning and engineering work (designing, building and repairing the power distros and cables and so on). It also includes monthly reporting to the management of the company.

What are your hobbies?

This industry is my hobby and it's the place where I feel in my element. I try to keep a work-life balance and am keen on mental health (I even made a mental-health-related podcast for the people from our field).

What do you want to share with the world?

Thinking big and always moving forward, no matter what, are the things that inspire me. And, as Winky from TAIT used to say, "In this business, you're only as good as your last show."
