MILK ME MILK ME is a family-run booking, events and concert promotion company based in Berlin.

Joshua Murphy and Catherine Elsässer, as MILK ME, are responsible for the curation and booking of Berlin’s Urban Spree as well as their own roster which includes the aufnahme + wiedergabe label artists and a selection of punk and bizarre. The pair also Moonlight as selectors and perform Hybrid Live sets as MILK ME.

Just announced! Eletrokohle “Kalt Wie Du Bist” record release show at Neue Zukunft on the 23.03.2025 as support for Frustration.

Elektrokohle is a Noise-Post-punk trio based in Berlin and comprises members from Italy, Germany, and Brazil, namely Suzan Flag (bass), Mr. Cigarette Butt (vocals, synth), and Mona Manie (guitar).

Pulling their inspirations from ’80s Punk, Noise, Krautrock, DarkSurf, and Punk-Blues the band defines their music as “Cold Punk”. Sparse bilingual vocals, motorik beats, industrial clangs, screeching and echoing guitar and a hypnotic synth, all amount to an intoxicating mix.

The band is known for intense, chaotic and energetic live performances and their music pushes the boundaries of what can be, yet remains deeply rooted in the raw, gloomy underground Berlin sound.

In November 2024, the band was hit by a great tragedy as Suzan Flag lost her life in a fatal accident. She was not only the bass player, but also a good friend and left a deep void in the band. Before the accident happened, the band had just finished their first album. After a break for processing, the band will release the LP “Kalt Wie Du Bist” in February 2025 on the renowned label Oráculo Records, which also produces bands such as Boy Harsher, Ultra Sunn, Bleib Modern and Blind Delon.

The album will be dedicated in memory of Suzan Flag, where she plays and sings on all the 10 tracks.

The debut album “Fading Echoes” by darkwave artist Skelesys, was released on the 15.11.2024 by Pinkman records. Across nine evocative tracks, Fading Echoes navigates the tension between nostalgia and self-discovery, weaving a moody blend of synth-pop, post-punk, and goth influences. The result is an atmospheric exploration of memory, heartache, and resilience—a soundtrack for those moments when the past refuses to stay buried, and the future feels uncertain.

From cold, creeping synths to mournful guitar lines echoing like distant whispers, Fading Echoes immerses the listener in a soundscape where shadows and light coexist. The album has a distinct cinematic quality, evoking the smoky allure of neon-lit cityscapes and rain-slicked streets. Each track feels like a chapter in a film noir tale of introspection and escape. Throughout the album, a sense of longing emerges—a desire to hold onto something beautiful, even as it slips away.

The album’s first single, “Pictures In My Mind,” features the haunting vocals of Curses, adding an extra layer of allure to its brooding atmosphere. Just announced! on the 23.03.2025 We wil host the legendary French post-punk band Frustration in Berlin at Neue Zukunft, as part of their European tour in support of their new record “Our Decisions”.

Frustration is the flawless journey of the wild children of French rock: from the stirring beginnings within the aptly named Happy Family - the clique of DIY rockers gravitating around the Parisian record store Born Bad -to the progressive anchoring of the band in the world of French and European underground punk, from the rise of power at the turn of the 2010s to the mutation of the band into a real unifying force of all the tribes of rock’n’roll, The band has written one of the most beautiful chapters of French rock and has become its most emblematic actor. We are thrilled to announce the Berlin show for the Crime & the City Solution “Acoustic in Europe” tour on the 11.12.2024 at Kulturhaus Insel Berlin!

Buoyed by the response to its recent tour of Ireland, the three-piece acoustic version of Crime, which features Bronwyn Adams (violin and vocals), Simon Bonney (vocals) and Joshua Murphy (acoustic guitar and vocals), is now bringing reimagined acoustic versions of the Crime catalogue to European friends old and new.

Born of a want to play the material in the style that many of the songs were first written and to create an intimate atmosphere that captures the simple joy of friends playing together for friends, unmediated by technology, this lineup will operate in addition to the bigger full-electric lineup.

Our thanks to Post-Punk.com for the premier and beautiful article. “The notion of “softness” traditionally implies gentleness, warmth, or even weakness – but not in the new song I Am Soft from Berlin songstress Cosey Mueller. To her, “soft” is not synonymous with fragility, but instead, a quiet strength. In choosing to embrace sensitivity over hardness, one must reconsider the power in vulnerability—where being soft doesn’t signal defeat, but rather an openness to life’s experiences – good or bad – without the armour of emotional rigidity or the status quo. I Am Soft, with the minimalist staccato synth stylings and detached vocal delivery of early Mute bands like DAF and The Normal, and delves into a recurring meditation on vulnerability, contrasting it with the more rigid aspects of life. The lyrics repeatedly assert softness, positioning it against the hard edges of existence, be it in relationships, finances, or moments of intoxication.
