"Traditional Iranian classical music"

Yalda Yazdani is an Iranian ethnomusicologist, filmmaker, and curator, currently working as a
research fellow at the University of Siegen. From 2017 to 2023, she founded and curated
the Female Voice of Iran, Female Voice of Afghanistan, and Female Voice of Kurdistan festivals in
collaboration with Contemporary Opera Berlin.

"Kimia Bani" is a professional Iranian percussionist and Community musician for more than 20 years. Bani's global career has seen her collaborate with musicians worldwide, bridging Eastern and Western musical traditions and actively engaging with political, feminist and gender minority bands.

Yalda Yazdani ist iranische Musikethnologin, Filmemacherin und Kuratorin und arbeitet derzeit als
Forschungsstipendiatin an der Universität Siegen. Von 2017 bis 2023 gründete und kuratierte sie
die Festivals Female Voice of Iran, Female Voice of Afghanistan und Female Voice of Kurdistan in
Zusammenarbeit mit der Zeitgenössischen Oper Berlin.

„Kimia Bani“ ist eine professionelle iranische Perkussionistin und Gemeinschaftsmusikerin seit mehr als 20 Jahren. In ihrer globalen Karriere hat Bani mit Musikern auf der ganzen Welt zusammengearbeitet, östliche und westliche Musiktraditionen überbrückt und sich aktiv mit politischen, feministischen und Gender-Minderheiten-Bands auseinandergesetzt.

يلدا يزداني هي عالمة موسيقى عرقية إيرانية وصانعة أفلام ومنسقة أفلام، وتعمل حاليًا زميلة أبحاث في جامعة سيغن. من 2017 إلى 2023، قامت بتأسيس وتنسيق مهرجانات ”صوت أنثى إيران“ و”صوت أنثى أفغانستان“ و”صوت أنثى كردستان“ بالتعاون مع أوبرا برلين المعاصرة بالتعاون مع أوبرا برلين المعاصرة.

كيميا باني هي عازفة إيقاع إيرانية محترفة وعازفة إيقاعية وموسيقية مجتمعية منذ أكثر من 20 عاماً. وقد شهدت مسيرة باني المهنية الدولية تعاونها مع موسيقيين من مختلف العالم.
