Luca Bigote is an Italian-born and previously Berlin-based DJ with wide tastes across the music spectrum. Displaying an intent to never be pinned down by genres, his diverse sets are long global journeys flirting with Ambient introspections, rarefied Soft Electronica, floating Downtempo beats, warm Organic Grooves, and all different shades of House. A versatile approach that has taken him to citie

s like Berlin, Tel Aviv, Brussels, Milan, Rome, Naples and more, places where he also shared the DJ booth with pivotal artists like Tornado Wallace, Patrice Scott, Fantastic Man, Rahaan just to name a few. In the past, he also contributed for Italian music webzines such as Tsinoshi Bar and RITC, and acted as prime ambassador of Enzino's Records — a vinyl-only label supported by the likes of Axel Boman, Soul Clap, Wolf+Lamb, OYE Records, Phonica and where he released two edits back in 2017.

This set represents the first step in a personal journey of reconnecting with the sounds that first drew me into the world of DJing almost 20 years ago—deeply rooted in house music and all its shades, which have always felt like home to me, despite the many experiments and influences over the years, especially recent ones. It’s a kind of return to my roots, but with a renewed vision shaped by experience.

A huge thanks to Matteo and Fede for having me—it was wonderful to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Long live music!

Happy to be part of the musical lineup put together by the Pizza Club crew for The Sound Of Pizza event at Arca Milano, in collaboration with Jazz:Re:Found.
I’ll be on deck in the garden with many talented friends and DJs, with my playtime from 13:30 to 14:30 PM. Thanks to Matteo and Fede for the invite!
