🇫🇷 ICEF Secondary Education Paris is in full swing and it’s worth reflecting on the rapid expansion of the K-12 market segment, which has shown steady growth from 2020 - 2025.

With students and their families increasingly concerned about issues including future employability, language learning, global citizenship, and gaining broader cultural awareness, the total number of international schools is now approaching 15,000, with nearly 7.5 million students equating to around US$67 million.

Safeguarding international students - ICEF Secondary Education Paris 🇫🇷

For many international students, studying abroad often means being away from their homes and families for the first time, making them especially vulnerable and in need of specialised, ongoing support.

In this session, ICEF’s Vanessa Sophia Verworn moderated a panel with Sandy Connors (Welfare Way), Aileen Kane (BSA Group), and Susanne Hendrickson (StudyInsured), which explored the importance of developing clear safeguarding measures throughout the recruitment process and beyond.
