🏹 5 TIPS TO FIND VENDORS THAT ACCEPT YOU
Planning your wedding can be stressful—especially if you’re LGBTIQ+, don’t see yourself represented in the wedding industry, or your relationship doesn’t fit traditional boxes. That’s why finding inclusive vendors matters.
🎞️ Representation matters
Everyone in their pictures and videos is cis, straight, white, slim, and able-bodied? Look further.
✍️ Ask directly
Get in touch, ask about their experience with lovers like you. Pay attention to the language they use. You are a gay couple or a polycule? There are alternatives to ‘bridal couple.’ One of you is blind or a guest uses a wheelchair? “Don’t worry, we’ll figure something out” won’t guarantee inclusion.
💡 Openness counts
Do they proactively say they are open to learn? That’s a good sign.
🏳️⚧️ Pronouns matter
They share their pronouns visibly—because they know normalizing it is important, especially for cis people.
🚨 Trust your gut
If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.
🤲 Feeling overwhelmed? Get in touch—I’d love to help you find vendors who will truly make your day as special as you deserve.
