BRYAN JONES
In 2015 Jannis Doukas and Andrew Barrett formed the electronica act Bryan Jones. The result is a pumping modern sound of eclectic beats, cool kick
s and versatile guitar breakdowns. With a focus on groove and a crossover-feel the duo generated not only a vibe in the electronic scene, but also seem to have a truly magnetic effect on the pop world. Unusual, however, the way their music is created. Guitar tracks are recorded in their own studio, not copied from sampled songparts of others, which nowadays is common practice. All vocal parts are also created in good old DIY recording tradition. Andrew says: "We write songs, not just beats." Real songs with real instruments and emotions. Andrew "Brian" Barrett, the englishman from the metalcamp has played concerts supporting Rammstein, TSOL, Iron Maiden or the punk legends Pennywise. In Bryan Jones, he is responsible for the guitar parts and vocals. Jannis "Jones" Doukas, is the producer and responsible for all beats electronic sounds and instruments. Originating from the hiphop scene, Jones has made himself a name in the remix business. With his remixes of Don Goliath Thriller -. "Gangsta Girl", Roots Manuva - "Witness" Fanta 4 - "Easy" and the Massive tones hit - "Stress" he has claimed wide approval. As a producer Jones has helped lots of artists to achieve a fatter and clearer sound. Continuing the successful launch of their collaboration BRYAN JONES is currently in the studio working on material for their debut album. Forget genres, just listen! Palm Mute Recordings
