Jovan commitment and love of music has taken him from his early beginnings as a drummer in a jazz funk band to international DJ. Fascinated by the mixing ability of his English role models he started to swap the drumsticks for faders and his emotional DJ- Sets soon started to win him widespread recognition in the German clubbing scene. After making his mark internationally in Spain he started prod
ucing for MonoM Studios in Hamburg. His first single ”Heartlight” (since of UNIVERSAL MUSIC) was rocking dancefloors internationally and was soon followed by his remix of "Zodiac-Just be good to me" (since of WARNER) which just scraped past the German top 10 of the DDC chart. The success of the China Club in 2002 can be largely accredited to Jovan MINDs music policy which was his sole responsibility as booker and resident DJ. The club with international acclaim has clearly benefited from Jovan Minds signature House-Sound which he describes as "S*x through Music". This sound is now available for everybody through the record label “China Moon Records”. From the first release ”dirty little bitch” to the more than credible compilation which was released for the “China Lounge European Club Tour” Jovan stands for a fat party with a lot of s*x appeal which will soon come to a venue near you in Munich, London, Vienna, Zurich, Mallorca, Ibiza, New York and Miami. Jovan Mind received 2005 of the Munich radio station "NOVA Radio" every Friday evening his own radio show "China Moon Show".
2008 change his Resident-Homebase in Hamburg from China-Lounge to H1 Club, Club du Nord, Moondoo Club and Halo Clubbing.
2009 DJ Jovan Mind opened the Record-Label SOUND of TOUCH Records (www.facebook.com/soundoftouch)
The new single with grooving and pump in’ beats “Lazy Days” goes Top 20 Hit in German Dance Charts.
2011 founded Jovan Mind with Jay Frog (ex Scooter band member) the Act "Bonkers" and landed immediately with the first single "coloured" in the top 20 of the DDC (German Dance Charts). In the same year, Jovan Mind was also a part of the minimal- techno- deep house project "Krieger und Feuersänger".
