What a season! Last weekend marked the official end of our season, but let me tell you, it was anything but quiet!
So, what challenges did we tackle this year?
We faced a few weather hiccups, but guess what? All ceremonies were held outdoors, even on the rainiest days, so let’s talk about commitment!🤝🏼We held on to hope until the last minute that we could have the ceremonies outside. I know how important that is for our couples, and while the backup plan was beautiful, nothing compares to saying „I do“ under the open sky. The team was on standby to make last-minute adjustments. It worked out perfectly! ✨
Then we had the artificial flowers that decided to earn their respect by causing a few small fires! But don’t worry, we handled that quickly. Who knew those blooms could be so dramatic? 😂
Oh, and let’s not forget the two boats that broke down right before the event! But we got everyone out on the water just in time.
Then there were the road closures that left us in a bit of a bind. Two tunnels were closed, one due to landslide risks and the other because of heavy rain. The only other route was by ferry, but that was also shut down due to severe weather! Everyone was quite literally stuck, but thank God for the buffer time, we had everything set up before the couple even noticed a thing.
Despite all these unexpected twists, we made it work. All these challenges that were out of our control still had to be managed, and we know our couples trust us to make their dreams come true. A huge shoutout to all the amazing vendors who helped us pull it off!
So, while the season might be over, the work and excitement for next year are just beginning. What an incredible ride this has been. Thank you to all the wonderful couples for your kind words, gifts, and unforgettable moments. Here’s to the next season, we’ve got this! 🤍
