US 🇺🇸 regulations for exhibition industry are quite different than in Europe
This is why we always advise our clients on possible extra costs they might have after the show

Here is what you have to remember when preparing your trade show in the US:

🔘 labor unions act almost in every state and exhibitors are not allowed to unload and deliver their materials to the booth themselves, this is called “handling fee”;
🔘 building platforms is rather expensive this is why most of the builders use thick carpet with underlayer;
🔘 using such systems as Octanorm and BeMatrix is widely popular in US exhibition stand designs;
🔘 USA exhibition stand builders almost never use spray paint finish for furniture, they produce laminate counters and bars instead;
🔘 overall booth design is simpler in the US;
US suppliers demand 100% prepayment

Depending on the frequency of your trade shows you might consider booth production in Europe and shipping it to the US
