On Saturday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Cochlear Deutschland and hosting their 40 year anniversary. We worked together with MIRE + QUAM GmbH to let our event location shine in a special glamour. Many elements, such as the pillar in the entrance area and parts of the windows, were covered in a cheerful yellow colour to represent Cochlear Deutschland. This gave our location a very special look.✨
Catering was also provided: guests were able to help themselves either at the food bike in the beer garden or at the food truck in the courtyard. 🍔🥙

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the .✨
Fortunately, the weather was great, so our guests were able to relax after a productive day in our courtyard with a "Grill & Chill". They enjoyed a cool drink and a selection from our delicious barbecue buffet, which also offered lots of vegetarian and vegan options. 🥗🥩
The atmosphere was so good that many people joined us on the dance floor 💃 - thanks to the great DJ!

The Autodesk is a conference for software developers and corporate innovators to network and learn about cutting-edge technology from Autodesk experts. 500 interested participants each day were able to attend sessions and network with each other. We went to this year's IMEX in Frankfurt to exchange ideas, network, and gain the latest industry insights. What an exciting two days with great presentations and new, future partners! Of course, everything was focused on expansion, as smartvillage aims to enrich many more cities in the future. ✨
Additionally, we were very pleased to see how much emphasis was placed on the topic of "sustainability." We are proud to have already created such a flexible and future-oriented offering in this area—and this is just the beginning! 🌳
It was great, and we will certainly visit again next year!

Our Swiss corner was repurposed, and after a laid-back Grill & Chill, headphones were donned, and the dancing started. 🥳 The speciality of a Silent Disco is that everyone can choose their own channel with their favorite music, ensuring there's something for everyone to groove to - and for those who prefer to have conversations at the bar, they're spared from overly loud music.

We love the before and after effect! We are now looking forward to the upcoming barbecue evenings and after-work events, which are particularly valuable for community building.

1. We kicked off the month with a big and wonderful event: hosting this year's Meet Germany Summit at smartvillage Bogenhausen. Fun fact: one of our team members, Carlo Kunzmann, was named after Carlo Thränhardt, the three-time world high jump record holder, who spoke at the event! So we managed to get a picture of our Carlo next to his namesake! 💪👯‍♂️

2. Afterwards we had another exciting event at our venue: Digital Video Broadcasting led an afternoon of keynotes, technology updates and quickfire briefings on the latest developments and trends in media distribution. 💡

3. Our team took part in the Samsonite Office Beach Cup 2024, and to top it all off, we won, which made it even cooler! 🏆🏐

4. Another cool thing that happened in March was that our location was used as an interview setting. Martin Grosse and Bonita Lubliner from KÖNIGSKLASSE and audimax MEDIEN GmbH - aud!max interviewed some people at our location, including our People and Culture Manager Emily Simon! 🎥

Yesterday the MEET GERMANY Summit took place in Munich and the best part is that we got the chance to host this year's event! All guests arrived at smartvillage Bogenhausen and we were delighted to welcome more than 160 people to our venue and show them the spirit of smartvillage - a venue that is anything but ordinary. ✨

Our community knows that we thrive on challenging convention and redefining the creation of extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression. That's what we hope all our guests got to taste yesterday! 🤝

In the afternoon, a bus tour was organised to go from location to location to see what the industry has to offer in Munich! The day was all about networking with event professionals from different industries at different locations. Our location, smartvillage Schwanthalerhöhe, was also one of the stops on the group's bus tour. 🚌

In short, the Summit was very well organised and successful! Congratulations to MEET GERMANY and all the participating exhibitors and venues for such a lively and unconventional day full of interesting content. 👏

1. Last week, Roland Busch, CEO of Siemens, visited us at smartvillage Schwanthalerhöhe. As our CEO Lukas Koppitz puts it: „smartvillage is where people meet, not hierarchies or numbers.“ It was an honor to host him and his colleagues! 🤝

2. Leadership Kickoff Workshop: Our leadership team enjoyed a weekend getaway, bonding, networking, and strategizing for the future! Thanks to Scale Up for the inspiring input. 🏔💡

3. Exciting News! We've set up new separation stations from Greenoffice at our venue, making smartvillage greener and ensuring resource reuse. 🔄

4. This week, msg held a three-day leadership workshop at smartvillage Bogenhausen. The workshop took place in our elegant Ballsaal and included an engaging presentation. Delicious snacks were also provided. 🍿

5. We close our February with awareness-raising: We're proud supporters of the Community Kitchen München project! ♻️ They're transforming tetrapacks into incredible works of art, shining a light on Munich's daily food waste and encouraging citizens to rethink their consumption habits. At smartvillage, we value the profound impact that different environments can have on creativity and innovation. Therefore, during an apprenticeship at smartvillage, our apprentices have the opportunity to move between our two locations - one in the heart of Bogenhausen and the other on Munich's Schwanthalerhöhe - from time to time to help out!

Emily Simon, our People & Culture Manager, says: “Rotating our trainees between locations and teams ensures experiential learning - it allows our people to adapt seamlessly to different workflows, maximising their efficiency and professional creativity.”💡

It is also an exciting opportunity to alternate between workshops and meetings at smartvillage Schwanthalerhöhe and large conferences and events at smartvillage Bogenhausen. In this way, our trainees learn the ins and outs of events of different sizes and with different target groups. We look forward to the exchange of ideas, perspectives and experiences that these rotations will bring!

Yesterday, thanks to SDK, smartvillage has transformed into a beautiful gala venue. This proves again, that smartvillage can adapt to all kind of occasions, including chic events.

1. New year and big events ahead! We were happy to host the Bodystreet again this year and it was a great success! 💫

2. As you may have heard, smartvillage is growing! So we need new team members and a proper employer branding strategy. Our Marketing & HR team worked together on an employer branding workshop: stay tuned for the results! 🤝

3. What better way to start the year than with a team after work event? We enjoyed a nice evening together as a team with delicious snacks like Pinsa and KRAPFEN. 😍

4. We started the month by welcoming new team members to our team, so we did a quick interview with them for our socials. 🎥

The video speaks volumes! ⬇ 😊 The PM-Welt 2023, organized by projektmagazin.de, revolved around exciting presentations on project management, showed the newest project management technologies, fostered networking, and gave practical impulses out of the industry (for instance Godo Röben explained the"project path" of Rügenwalder Mühle towards vegan nutrition). Sunny weather, all terraces open, all rooms booked, table tennis, delicious food, and an enchanting live band that sets the rhythm for a captivating atmosphere - what else can you ask for? 😍 Nicole Schweinberg, our project manager, took the best care to make this event extraordinary. "Success is not just about delivering a big event; it's about orchestrating a symphony of details, going the extra mile, overcoming obstacles, and inspiring a team to achieve greatness.", she said.
