Man hört es leider immer öfter, dass Konzerte oder Festivals wegen schlechtem Kartenvorverkauf abgesagt werden müssen. Der Kartenvorverkauf ist eines der wichtigsten Bestandteile der Planung eines Events. Veranstalter nehmen viel Geld, Zeit und Risiko auf sich, um für Euch etwas auf die Beine zu stellen. Leider lesen wir immer häufiger, dass das Finanzielle Risiko durch den schlechten Verkauf zu groß wird, wodurch nur eine Absage folgen kann. Viele spekulieren auf Abendkasse, um z.B. die Wetterverhältnisse abzuwarten oder spontan zu bleiben, doch das ist für Veranstaltungen tödlich. Sowohl die Veranstalter als auch die Bands, die Viel Zeit und Planung in Anspruch genommen haben, leiden unter den Folgen. Es ist verständlich, dass man z.B. noch sein Dienstplan abwarten oder anderweitig flexibel bleiben muss. Aber! Wer Angst hat, dadurch auf seinem Ticket sitzen zu bleiben: Es gibt mittlerweile viele Tauschbörsen und Kleinanzeigen-Portale, die da eine große Hilfe sind. Auch wenn man vielleicht noch nie was von der Veranstaltung oder den Bands gehört hat, steckt dort viel Herzblut drin und muss unterstützt werden.

Deswegen! Geht mehr auf Konzerte und unterstützt die lokalen Veranstaltungen/Bands. Nur das Ticket am Kühlschrank hilft!

Act 8/8 Memoria (Sweden)

Memoria is the solo darkwave/postpunk project of Tess de la Cour
With her debut album ‚Cravings‘, Memoria gave us a darkwave that is truly dark, beautiful and energetic and truly established her as the Swedish darkwave queen.

Rumbling synths, monotonous drumming and an ominous guitar build an atmosphere that grab you from the first note. Yes, it is dark and ominous but at the same time so beautiful and shimmering. All led forward with Tess‘ powerful voice.

Now she and her faithful producer/co-writer Rikard Lindh (of Yvonne) have put together her second album ‚ From The Bones‘ which is every inch as good as her debut album and will surely introduce her to a much bigger audience.

Tess de la Cour has currently done features with the like of Henric de la Courand and Kite
Memoria will play Saturday night ( 9 November).

a pop heart. Full of contrasts, the duo oscillate
between warm and cold, seeing beauty in what
frightens others. Their powerful music comes from

New album: Body Horror

AUX ANIMAUX is a “Hauntwave” artist from Stockholm with a soft spot for horror, mixing dark synth tunes with dystopic sounds and haunting vocals and theremin. Her songs draw inspiration from the 80s dark wave and goth bands, as well as occultism and horror movies.

Aux Animaux released her first songs in 2017. She has been touring both in Sweden and rest of Europe, opening for artist, such as She Past Away, Hante, Then Comes Silence among others.

The reason the album is called Body Horror is multi-layered. Firstly, this is the artist’s first album with EBM influences that can be heard especially in tracks such as “Sleep Paralysis”, “Venus Lucifer”, “Blackout” and “Night”. It also has to do with the health problems the artist has had the last year, that affected her both physically and mentally, causing her to feel like a character out of a body horror film. Horror influences are clearly heard on the album (among others) with samples taken from the movies such as The Shining, Halloween or Dracula.

The latest single “Night” is a song inspired by vampire movies. The song is written from the perspective of a vampire enjoying its time during the night. The song opens with a sampling of Bela Lugosi from the classic Dracula. The artist dedicates this song to all ”children of the night.” The song features Aux Animaux’ specific sounds such as dark bass synths and dark, but haunting vocals.
