✨ An unforgettable incentive experience in Norway! ✨

Friederike, Michèle, and Maileen are back from an amazing trip to Norway!

📍 The first two days in Voss:
Fjord cruise on the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, a visit to the Viking Village with Viking games, and a shared Viking BBQ – an absolutely magical experience!

🚆 Then we took the train to Bergen:
We visited the famous fish market, hiked Mount Fløyen, went crab fishing in Øygarden, and enjoyed a historical tour with fascinating insights into the life of composer Edvard Grieg.

🎉 The grand finale:
An exclusive gala dinner at Oseana, right by the fjord, accompanied by live music and a great party with a DJ.

With plenty of sunshine, we had the perfect days in Norway!

😍 An Unforgettable Edinburgh Experience 🌟

Maileen and Jasmin had an incredible few days in Edinburgh filled with memorable experiences:

We started our journey with a relaxing stay at the W Edinburgh 🏨, a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. From there, we explored the city’s heritage with visits to a traditional kiltmaker and indulged in sweet treats at Fudge Kitchen 🍫.

Our time at Winton Castle 🏰 was full of excitement, where we took part in Highland Games and enjoyed a thrilling falconry display 🦅, followed by a delicious BBQ lunch. Next, we toured the impressive Port of Leith Distillery 🥃, a unique vertical distillery, where we had the chance to taste some fine whiskey.

We concluded the evening with an elegant gala dinner 🍽️ at the historical Surgeons Hall and ended the night with a few drinks 🍸 and great conversations at Tigerlilly.

☀️ Kitzbühel in summer & winter ❄️

While Jessica’s & Silvia’s initial concept in Kitzbühel was based on enjoying a late summer event we finally experienced the first snow of the season.
We set off under grey skies in a horse-drawn carriage towards Schwarzsee and finally caught a sunset over the lake in front of the Steghaus. 🌨️

The next day, they got sunburnt on the hike across the famous Streif and the hut trophy at the Seidlalm - where our guests were able to try their hand at the slingshot and milking, among other things. 🐄

The next day's rafting was made all the more enjoyable by the rain, while the other half of the group got to try their hand at golf. In the evening, we were finally surprised with snow during our last Kaiserschmarrn together at Rosi's in the Sonnbergstubn. 🍽️

Despite everything, the atmosphere always remained great - of course also because of the fantastic Hotel A-ROSA Kitzbühel, our wonderful local partners and the many unique restaurants we visited. 🤝

☀ Cape Town Site Visit 🌄

Even during the winter months, Cape Town's beauty remains undeniable. Silvia has just returned from a brief but eventful three-day site visit to this stunning city. 😎

A pre-trip can reveal just how much can be packed into a single day. Blessed with sunny skies, the itinerary was filled with unforgettable experiences. Here's a glimpse:

A hike around the Cape of Good Hope, followed by a scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak. A morning adventure in sidecars, picnicking at picturesque wine estates. 🍷 Strolling through the vibrant V&A Waterfront and indulging in some of the best culinary spots: The Pot Luck Club, The Nines, Harbour House in Kalk Bay, and The Bungalow in Camps Bay. 🍽

Exploring Stellenbosch with some shopping, and enjoying bites at the charming Oranjezicht City Farm & Market. And of course, reuniting with Marion, Karen, and the SALT team over drinks with a breathtaking view from Signal Hill. 😍

☀️ Summer, Sun, Networking 🌇

Last week, Maileen and Bianca had the opportunity to explore exciting new locations and connect with amazing people.

First, Maileen got to experience the stunning new event location, Upper East Side in Frankfurt, with a breathtaking view of the skyline.

The next day, they headed to the The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg in the Autostadt GmbH for the summer party of the Marriott International Luxury Group. Surrounded by classic luxury cars, they had the chance to get to know the group’s hotels and destinations up close. The evening concluded with an outstanding dinner in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

🌞 Silvia on a pre-trip to one of her favourite destinations ‘Montenegro’ - between the North and the South 🌴

What recently was dominated by one hotel in the north is now making the north accessible to a wider target group in no time at all. The new Swissôtel Resort Kolašin and other resorts are ready to welcome their guests. 😎

The drive south along the winding roads is always a wonderful contrast. The south with its original Montenegrin beach clubs, dreamlike scenery and sophisticated hotels leaves nothing to be desired. If you haven't been here yet, you should definitely add the north to your list. 🌄

⚽ United by football – EURO 2024 🎉

The last couple of weeks, Jessica & Silvia organized a couple of events for one of our clients all around the most exciting matches of EURO 2024. Not only did our guests have the chance to experience the amazing atmosphere & hospitality in a couple of German cities and take part in an interesting workshop, but also embraced traditional beergarden culture and had a fantastic Schnitzel, before seeing Europe’s best football teams live in Germany’s biggest stadiums. 🏟

With guests from all over Europe our events really brought EURO’s spirit “united by football” to life – Portuguese next to French, Spanish next to English. 🌍

But not just the guests were united – it was a huge project with many different partners to make this happen. A special thank you goes out to Accor, Marriott International & Titanic Hotels, to our lovely teams from the beergardens we visited and also to RELAY GmbH - Creative Event Transportation and Marc who all went the extra mile with us, our great VOK DAMS worldwide guest & travel management with Marten Knoblich as well as Bianca & Friederike who were a great support on site. 🤗💪

La Dolce Vita - Welcome to Sicily 🌞

Michèle, Silvia, and Bianca embarked on a pre visit trip to the stunning Italian island of Sicily. Their mission was to explore the island around Mount Etna and especially the Club Med Cefalù in preparation for an exclusive buy-out event in fall 2024. 😎

At the resort, it was essential to experience its diverse offerings firsthand to craft a perfectly tailored experience for our guests in October. The resort's extensive culinary delights and leisure activities, combined with options for customized group events, ensure that every desire is catered to during the buy-out. 👌

We are looking forward to the upcoming event, which beautifully blends the essence of La Dolce Vita and the laid-back charm of a siesta siciliana with the distinctive French "savoir vivre" at Club Med. 🤟Let it Rock on Tenerife! 🎸🌴

The 42 team—Michèle, Maileen, Bianca, and Jessica—landed on the spectacular Canary Island of Tenerife for an exciting event.

From a cooking workshop with Tenerife's star chef Carlos Gamonal in an exclusive location, a thrilling jeep tour through the mesmerizing lava fields of Mount Teide with a BBQ picnic, to an unforgettable catamaran tour with whale watching, the event was packed with unforgettable moments. 🚙🐋

Exclusive evening spots like dinner at the Molino Blanco combined with an oldtimer tour, the Monkey Beach Club and a exclusive dinner in a banana plantation ensured the days ended on a high note.🍴

The absolute highlight awaited our guests on the final evening: a Black Night Dinner with an exhilarating Harley show, and a rock band performance at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife. All true to the motto: Let's Rock! 🎤🏍️

Hola Sitges! 🌍

Beside our amazing international incentive projects, we love as well our MEETCENTIVES. 🧡

Lara and Silvia have just returned from a one-week international Leadership Meeting in beautiful Sitges, close to Barcelona. ☀

Under blue skies and a pleasant 25 degrees, a 2.5-day conference with guests all over the world was the focus of the trip.

With the best view of the Mediterranean, the guests took part in interesting meetings and guest lectures at Eurostars Sitges. A highlight of the conference was the key note speech on sustainability with Sue. Not surprising a big theme of the conference was sustainability, whether panels and totems made of wood, sustainable guest gifts, our local partners were a big help to make this event as sustainable as possible. 🌱

Incentive in Gdansk❓

When one hears „Incentive“ one‘s mind goes immediately to all European hotspots... 🌞

However, 42 INCENTIVE loves to travel as well away from the mainstream hotspot to secure the best experiences for our guests.

Silvia & Jessica recently spent two amazing days in Gdansk, Poland.

Set on the Baltic Sea Coast, the city has a unique vibe, lush scenery, and splendid architecture that reminded us of Amsterdam. Amber shops sit on top of each other, rows of colorful houses adorn every picturesque street, and medieval churches rise their imposing towers in the horizon.

Gdansk is more than your average port city. It’s one of Europe’s best-hidden gems! 💎

Even more fascinating is Sopot, only a few kilometers away & located directly on the Baltic sea with its long sandy beach and stylish beach restaurants. Definitely a place worth checking out! 🌊

Although we weren’t sure what to expect from Gdansk, we are now fully confident to organize 3 amazing Incentive trips, worth to remember in this beautiful city. 😀

The IMEX Frankfurt 2024 was once again an incredible opportunity for us to gain fresh inspiration and forge new connections. We were particularly impressed by the innovative ideas and trends showcased in the MICE industry. 🤝

A special thank you to all our DMC, hotel, and destination partners for inviting us. We greatly enjoyed talking to you in person and celebrating with Tailor Made Consulting, STR proMICE GmbH & Co. KG and Radisson Blu at their evening events. 🥳

The inspiring AI presentation given by our VOK DAMS worldwide mentor and visionair Colja Dams to over 110 policy makers at the Policy Forum also deserves special mention. AI will play a decisive role in the event industry in the future.💡

Due to the peak season, our IMEX time was very limited. We apologize to all partners we couldn’t meet this time around.

Michèle and Friederike returned from an incentive trip to THE island of Germany - Sylt - last week. ✨

The island showed itself from its best side in bright sunshine. And so our guests experienced wonderful days with many culinary highlights and a varied program such as an e-bike tour, beach sailing on Römo, entertaining guided tours through Kampen and Keitum, preceded by an exclusive organ concert in St. Severins. 🌞

"Classics" like a visit to Gosch in List followed by a trip on the historic Gret Palucca to the seal banks or a visit to the Oyster Company are of course also a "must". 📌

As a farewell, the weather changed, but a short walk through wind and rain is somehow part of it on the rugged North Sea coast. ☔️

🌟 Unforgettable Journey Along the Rhône! 🚢 🌟

Last week, Maileen and Silvia travelled to the south of France for a special incentive event. From Arles to Lyon, they cruised along the beautiful Rhône on the exclusively chartered luxury cruise ship Riverside Ravel.

In Avignon, we explored historic streets, savored market flavors, and kayaked. 🏰 From a truffle hunt with dogs to an e-bike tour and a velo rail ride through the Gorges du Doux, every activity was a highlight! 🚴 Our journey ended in Lyon, where we enjoyed culinary delights and marveled at the city's history and modern wonders. 🌆

A heartfelt thank you to lynda from Oreva France DMC and Kerstin Jung from Ocean Event for their dedication and seamless collaboration! Together, we created an unforgettable event that will remain in our memories for a long time.

Reflecting on an Unforgettable Event in Scotland! 🏰

This week, Silvia had the pleasure of organizing a beautiful event in Scotland!

In Loch Lomond, we embarked on an exciting 4x4 adventure through the stunning Highlands and immersed ourselves in the rugged beauty of the landscape. A visit to the Glengoyne Whisky Distillery offered an insight into Scotland's rich distilling heritage, with tastings that delighted the senses.🥃⛰️

Our journey continued to Edinburgh, where we discovered a sense of adventure and experienced the thrill of traditional Scottish pursuits with activities such as clay pigeon shooting and falconry. We explored Edinburgh's historic streets, indulged in sweet treats at Fudge & Kiltschneider and marvelled at the craftsmanship of the local kilt makers.😋

The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the gala evening at the majestic Edinburgh Castle. 🥂

Heading North: Exploring Bergen and the Majestic Fjords! 🏔️

Maileen and Michèle embarked on an unforgettable site inspection through Norway's stunning landscapes.🏞

Starting in Bergen, we immersed ourselves in the historic charm of Bryggen, its iconic wooden houses standing as a testament to the city's rich heritage. From there, our journey led us to the fjords, where we embarked on a cruise from Flam to Gudvangen. The journey through majestic landscapes with cliffs and cascading waterfalls was simply mesmerising. 🚢

Arriving in Gudvangen, we stepped back in time at the Viking Village, where we gained insight into the lives of Norse warriors and experienced the spirit of ancient Norway. We even had the unique opportunity to visit a salmon farm in Oygarden, gaining insight into Norway's thriving aquaculture industry. 🐟

Days were filled with exploration and adventure, from city tours of Bergen to ascending Mount Floyen via the funicular, where panoramic views awaited us at the summit.

Our time in Bergen and the fjords was truly unforgettable, a testament to the warmth of Norwegian hospitality and the breathtaking beauty of the natural world. A special thanks to Rikke and Aleksandra from DMC Nordic Norway🌎

Exploring Charming Amsterdam! 🌷

Last week Maileen had the pleasure to go on a fantastic site inspection to Amsterdam, where she delved into the city's vibrant culture and rich history!

First on our agenda was a visit to the STRAAT Museum, where we immersed ourselves in the dynamic street art scene of Amsterdam.🎨 Then, we embarked on a captivating city tour, taking in iconic landmarks and hidden gems alike.

One of the highlights of our trip was the Grachten Museum, where we marveled at the intricate canal system that defines Amsterdam's landscape. 🛶 After the exlploring tour, we had a delightful dinner at Pompstation. Our base was the stylish Hotel Nhow, where the warm welcome set the tone for our adventure. 🏨

A huge shoutout to Daan and Jeroen Performance Travel , whose expertise and enthusiasm added an extra layer of magic to our experience! ✨

Our site inspection was a testament to the city's allure, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners for their hospitality and support. We're already counting down the days until our event in this enchanting city!

Friederike just returned from an incredible Fam Trip to Andalucia, and we can't wait to share the highlights with you all! 🙌

🏰 Explored the enchanting streets of Cádiz and Jerez de la Frontera, soaking in the rich history and culture at every turn. But the highlight? Indulging in a Michelin-starred lunch at La Carbona in Jerez - an absolute culinary delight! 🍽️

🏨 Our stay at Melia Nuovo Sancti Petri was nothing short of superb - two nights of pure luxury and relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! 🌟

🍷 Of course, no trip to Andalucia would be complete without a visit to a Sherry distillery. The tour at Fundador was fascinating, offering insights into the region's beloved drink. 🥂

🏰 Sevilla stole our heart with its stunning architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring the city and its majestic castles was an absolute treat. And the Flamenco Show at the Flamenco Museum? A true highlight of the trip! 💃

🌄 Our Sunday at Hazienda Los Angeles was the perfect way to unwind, surrounded by the beauty of the Andalucian countryside. 🌿

London Weekend Getaway!

Recently Silvia spent some sunny spring days in London!

Starting with a fam trip and a dinner at the fabulous Cliveden House and Spa, one of the most magnificent houses on the outskirts of London, followed by an overnight stay at the beautiful Fairmont Windsor Park - a perfect place for a Meetcentive. 🌷

Afterwards spending some more time in London with a great lunch at Borough Market, a speedboat tour in the sunshine on the Thames, a fun evening and overnight stay at The Ned, a visit to the Tate, a great dinner with Anja at Pétrus by Gordon Ramsey and of course a little bit of shopping around Bond street and Mayfair… and our last overnight at the The Mayfair Townhouse. What more you could wish for.. ☀

🌟 Kicking off the event season in Tallinn! 🌟

Last week, Lena & Lara had the pleasure of organising an amazing 5-day meetcentive in Tallinn, Estonia.

Our attendees enjoyed a series of productive meetings at Mövenpick Hotel, complemented by exquisite dinners at the Wine & Tapas Bar and Restaurant Roof, where they also experienced a fun cocktail workshop to kick off the event (not to forget the “sweet moments” during Chocolate Hour in the hotel lobby). 🍫🍹
Furthermore we treated our guests to exclusive dinners in Tallinn including modern Rataskaevu 16, the iconic TV Tower, and the amazing Fotografiska restaurant.

A highlight of the event was undoubtedly the farewell evening, where guests were surprised with a special award ceremony during various stop on our tour through Tallinn's Old Town, including historical landmarks like the Town Hall and Old Pharmacy or the modern Teleskivi quarter with the Peatus Bar. 🎉

And let's not forget the outdoor team activity, where adrenaline met adventure during an exhilarating bog shoe hike! Our guests embraced the Estonian wilderness, improving their survival skills with a fire-making workshop around a crackling campfire, accompanied by traditional Estonian mulled wine and biscuits.🔥

Reflecting on an eventful few weeks with the 42 INCENTIVE team in Frankfurt! 🌟

Indulging in culinary delights during a dinner at the new KMH restaurant with wine and cheese tasting directly from the Kleinmarkthalle and enjoying conversations with partners from Design Hotels around the globe. 🍽️🍷🧀

Unwinding at the new Rituals Store Mind Oasis with a hydro massage and exploring their collections which sparked ideas for fitting giveaways for our incentives. 💆‍♂️🎁

Joining the Radisson Blu Hotels Home Town Series in Frankfurt, sipping on dirty aperol, eating delicious tarte flambée and exploring the hotel and its facilities while networking with contacts from all over the country. 🏨✨

And last but not least having a blast at the Destinations+ more Roadshow at "Juwel am Main" with our partners for example from Montenegro, UAE/Oman or Poland. We were lucky in the raffle and went home with some amazing prices that we can't wait to cash in! 🌍👥

🌦️ Adapting to the elements: a memorable event in Tegernsee! 🏞️

Despite the unpredictable weather throwing us some curveballs, Friederike recently enjoyed a few days in Tegernsee with a small incentive group.

When bad weather altered our plans for a Husky Experience, we decided to explore Tegernsee's beauty on foot by hiking up to Berggasthof Neureuth and ending the day with a relaxed spa experience at the hotel Das Tegernsee. 🥾💆‍♂️
Saturday's plans for hot air ballooning may have been grounded, but we traded the skies for a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through the countryside, followed by a cable car ride up to Wallberg mountain to enjoy stunning views. 🐎🚠
Amidst our adventures, we indulged in the culinary delights of Tegernsee, from hearty meals (including some traditional curling competitions) at Gut Kaltenbrunn to cozy gatherings at Clubhaus Tegernsee and the authentic ambiance of Braustüberl. 🍽️
