🥁 TEACHERS LINE-UP 🥁
Dancer, choreographer, and physical education teacher, 36 years old. For 22 years has been dedicated to the art of dance.
Born in Florianópolis, Brazil, she moved to Rio de Janeiro in 2013 and currently lives in Espinho in Portugal. In 2009, she began studying a unique forró, called Roots. Yse’s classes are unique in that she can emphasize the roles of the followers and leaders.
Yse has participated in five European tours and one in the United States. She currently lives in Espinho, Portugal and develops her project called Porto Roots, with regular weekly classes.
You will most likely into her if you go to the main forró festivals in the world, as she is known as one of the first women to disseminate this style in classes.

🥁 TEACHERS LINE-UP🥁
Marquinhos do Forró ( ), Brazilian, northeastern and from Rio de Janeiro, has traveled Brazil and the world promoting Brazilian Popular Culture, is a teacher at the most prestigious dance academies in Rio de Janeiro, holds several forró championship titles and produces dance-related events.
Marquinhos began his career as a teacher at the height of Forró Universitário, but his greatest quest in these 25 years as a professional has been to deepen his Northeastern origins and rebuild himself as a teacher. His classes are a mixture of recovering and understanding his Northeastern roots and the modernization and evolution of this dance called Forró.
He is currently studying for a degree in history with the commitment to change the history of those who learn.
🥁 TEACHER LINE-UP 🥁
Since 2001 teacher, choreographer, researcher, event organizer, two-time Brazilian Forró champion and elected in 2015 and 2016 as “The Best Forró Teacher in Brazil” (Trophy Baila Mundo). Currently Fábio lives and teaches in Germany (Baden Wütemberg), dedicates to his platform of online classes, Forró Online, plays triangle with the Trio Gandaiá, besides doing in person workshops all over the world.
According to Fábio, his philosophy goes far beyond steps and sequences, and he teaches forró helping his students to develop a dancing soul and body, a deep connection with themselves and each other and an integration with the incredible music called Forró.

Camila Alves ( ) born in 1993 in Lisbon, Portugal, emerged from a rich dance heritage, cultivated by her Brazilian capoeirista father and Cape Verdean dancer mother.
Her lifelong dance journey began early, nurtured by her mother’s guidance, leading her through
various artistic expressions, festivals, and classes. A dance enthusiast since age 14, Camila explored
Argentine Tango, Salsa, Kizomba, Semba, and Hip-Hop.
Captivated by Forró in 2010 when she was just 17, Camila embarked on a remarkable trajectory as a
Forró teacher, teaching group classes, private classes and instructing at festivals globally since 2012 and imparting her expertise in 22 countries across 3 continents.
With a firm grasp of technique and a commitment to egalitarian dance dynamics, Camila’s teaching
ethos fosters expressive dance synchronized with music and partners.
Beyond teaching, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Xiado da Xinela in 2019, an online
shop offering vibrant dance attire and accessories for Forró lovers.
With a strong presence on social media, she also offers consultancies for dance professionals and
Forró communities that want to establish themselves in their city and in the digital world; as well as
intensive courses for aspiring teachers and professionals looking to develop and improve their skills.
🥁 TEACHERS LINE-UP 🥁
Hana ( ) and Lukas ( ) both started dancing Forró in 2017 in Freiburg. Before they moved to Cologne, Lukas was teaching regularly in Freiburg. Since 2021 they’ve been giving classes together for Forró de Côlonia in Bonn and Cologne.
Together they have been to countless festivals in Germany and Europe - Participating, Coaching and Teaching at Festivals like Forró de Colônia Festival, Samba and Forró Marathon Freiburg and VemVem Festival.
For them, dancing means translating the music into movement and the search for a shared language and a dialogue between equals.
Their classes focus on sharing techniques and concepts for a more comfortable and creative dance.

Matheus Antunes () born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is an international Forró teacher and founder of Balaio Berlin, a dance studio in Germany. His Forró journey began in 2012, initially learning Forró Universitário and then Forró Roots. He studied regularly at multiple schools and participated in countless workshops worldwide. After years of training, he was invited to teach in over 10 countries.
Before working independently in Berlin, he was a resident teacher at Forró do G3E at UFMG in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and at Forró de Colônia, where he founded a school branch in Duisburg, Germany. In his classes, you will learn not only dance moves but also dance fundamentals and other important aspects of couple dancing, which he studied deeply through multiple professional courses at renowned dance schools.

David Bosco () has been a ballroom dance teacher and choreographer for over 23 years. In 2010, he arrived in Barcelona and began his work with Forró classes, becoming the pioneer of the dance movement in the city. Today, he is fully dedicated to his new project: The CAFOFO, a Brazilian cultural center in Barcelona, where he teaches Forró and other styles of Brazilian dance, together with other professionals.
Isabelle Monti () is originally from Sweden and has had a deep love for dancing since she was a child. At the age of 16, she started dancing with the group Alegria do Samba in Stockholm, which sparked her interest in Brazilian culture. At 20, she traveled to Brazil to connect more deeply with the Brazilian dance scene and fell in love with Forró. Today, she lives in Barcelona and is training to become a teacher under David Bosco at his dance school, Cafofo.

Our next Artist is one of the brightest minds in Brazilian music and one of the few who connects various musical genres, such as pagode, samba, trap, rap, hip-hop and forró. He is the genius behind the great hits of Brazilian music. One of the country’s most influential artists since he was a teenager, he has dedicated himself to using some of this potential to enrich our wonderful Forró even more.

This year’s edition of the Miudinho Festival features an independent artist, singer and songwriter from São Paulo. She has several albums and a documentary, as well as winning a Latin Grammy for her album “Veia Nordestina”. In her own words, the definition of Forró is: “For me, Forró is a way of life. My first professional band was Forró, my first vinyls, my first kiss”.
We have the great honor of presenting this wonderful woman with incomparable energy called ✨🔥

The composer and percussionist teamed up with years ago in the city of Itacaré, and in London they met the Minas Gerais native from Belo Horizonte () thus forming the famous flavor of Minas with Bahia, under the name Forróbamba.

The talented musicians of are coming all the way from Brazil. With a distinctive swing and repertoire, inspired by Luiz Gonzaga, Mestre Zinho, Dominguinhos, Marinês, among others, the quartet guarantees a dance floor full of energy, without leaving anyone standing still, conquering both space and the hearts of all Forrozeir*s. Formed in 2018, the group is on the rise on the national “pé de serra” forró scenario, traveling throughout Brazil.

Miudinho Festival 2024 will feature a highly anticipated show for lovers of forró Pé de Serra. is coming with everything and more, directly from BH, for the first time in Europe.
The trio from Minas Gerais was formed in 2016 with the traditional forró pé de serra format: accordion, triangle and zabumba. Influenced by the great maestros of the genre, Leandro, Well and Marcelo form a lively trio that interprets the great forró classics, as well as performing their own songs.
They’ll set the dance floor on fire and won’t stop 🔥
