Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our colleagues from China to Wuppertal as they arrived ahead of tomorrow's annual Company Meeting and festive Christmas celebration.

We’re always excited about the opportunity to meet in person and exchange ideas, and this time was no exception. As part of their visit, we hosted them at our headquarters and treated them to a guided tour of the Vok Dams ATELIERHAUS, currently featuring the AI art exhibition “one step back – two steps forward” by Boris Eldagsen.

Tomorrow, the entire VOK DAMS team will gather for our international Company Meeting. Which German city will host this year’s event? You’ll have to wait and see ...

VOK DAMS China came back with PUMA to the 7th CIIE, the world's first import-themed national-level expo held for 6 days in Shanghai.

Our team designed a booth of 216 sqm size (9m x 24m), featuring key themes based around PUMA's philantrophic program, eco-friendly commitment & racing culture.

The booth focuses on 4 design language elements:

▪️𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿: Representing PUMA's values and spirit of circularity
▪️“𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲” 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿: A central feature that showcases the three themes of PUMA 2024 CIIE, and serves as the focal point dictating the entire booth layout
▪️𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀: A design choice to soften the overall aesthetic, harmonising with the circular theme and avoiding overly sharp edges
▪️𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: Predominantly uses PUMA's colors – red, black, grey and white – and introducing sublte colours in different areas to represent distinct themes

A series of events were held inside the booth to keep guests engaged and entertained:

▪️𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀: Inspired by RE:FIBRE Program from PUMA New York Flagship Store, aiming to promote PUMA's eco-friendly spirit by crafting recycled paper into badges
▪️𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿: Highlighting PUMA's racing culture, aiming to create a ripple effect that extends from the F1 Community to style chasers and a broader audience

Our collaboration with PUMA at CIIE 2024 seamlessly combined innovation, sustainability, and cultural heritage, leaving an enduring impression of PUMA’s commitment to progress, responsibility, and excellence.

A little over a year ago, we released our German book "Nachhaltige Events agil umgesetzt". Now, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the English edition: "Agile Event Sustainability".

Why does this matter? Because sustainability knows no borders. By sharing our insights with a broader audience, we aim to accelerate the global shift toward more sustainable events.

This book combines agile methodology with sustainability principles, offering practical solutions to make impactful events greener and more responsible.

Both photography and AI have sparked controversy over the years, often being accused of "faking" reality. However, their intersection is proving to be both fascinating and thought-provoking. That’s why we are excited to invite you to our latest exhibition at the Vok Dams ATELIERHAUS gallery in Wuppertal: "One step back – two steps forward” by Boris Eldagsen.

Boris gained international attention when he controversially declined a prestigious award at the Sony World Photography Awards, revealing that his award-winning photo, "The Electrician", was AI-generated. This bold move sparked an ongoing conversation about the relationship between AI and art, and it’s a conversation we are eager to continue.

The exhibition features striking AI-generated works, including the now-iconic “The Electrician”, which has been widely shared and discussed in the art world. These thought-provoking pieces serve as a reminder that in today's world, not everything is as it appears.

Am kommenden Sonntag öffnet das VOK DAMS Atelierhaus seine Türen für eine ganz besondere Ausstellung. Wir freuen uns, die beeindruckenden Werke von Boris Eldagsen zu präsentieren – Kunst, die mit Hilfe von Künstlicher Intelligenz geschaffen wurde.

Boris Eldagsen ist ein international anerkannter Experte für KI-generierte Kunst und ein gefragter Redner auf Events weltweit. Seine Ablehnung des „Sony World Photo Awards“ löste eine globale Diskussion über die Verbindung von Fotografie und KI aus. Sein Werk „Pseudomnesia: The Electrician“ wurde zum Sinnbild einer neuen Ära, und „Der Spiegel“ bezeichnete ihn treffend als „KI-Pionier“.

Eldagsen erkennt die tiefgreifenden Veränderungen, die KI mit sich bringt – ähnlich wie die Digitalisierung in den 90er Jahren. Seine Werke eröffnen neue Perspektiven und werfen spannende Fragen auf, insbesondere für die Fotografie der Zukunft.

Die Ausstellung eröffnet spannende Einblicke in die faszinierende Welt der KI-Kunst und macht die Revolution der kreativen Möglichkeiten erlebbar.

As the Official Partner of UEFA Euro 2024, Alipay held a Creators Forum in Germany inviting over 60 guests to the city of Berlin for a series of presentations and panel discussions, followed by a scenic boat tour on the Spree River.

Upon arriving at the Pullman Berlin, guests were greeted by a branded reception area where they received customised LED name tags.

After an informative conference, guests were taken to enjoy a scenic boat tour along Spree River for a relaxing evening of music, food, and sights.

Guests seated on the upper deck enjoyed drinks while listening to live music and beautiful sights, whereas the lower deck held the buffet station and cocktail bar.

As an extra special surprise, Alipay invited celebrity Su Xing and his team, on this scenic boat tour to meet and mingle with all guests.

We had the immense pleasure of designing and executing a truly unforgettable event for Brenntag’s 150th anniversary.

From the very first brainstorming session to the grand finale, it’s been an incredible journey working closely with Brenntag’s teams across various departments. The result? A spectacular event for 400 guests from across the globe, including customers, politicians, suppliers, and press.

Under the guiding motto “being constantly agile and moving forward,” we created a dynamic and forward-thinking celebration that reflected Brenntag’s spirit of innovation and resilience over the past 150 years.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, from the fantastic VOK DAMS team who poured their passion into this project, to our trusted partners and suppliers, and our valued client, who helped make it all happen. It’s teamwork like this that makes the magic happen! ✨

This year, we had the incredible honor of supporting the European Patent Office in organizing the European Inventor Award once again, shining a spotlight on the brilliant minds that drive innovation forward. Since its launch in 2006, this prestigious award has celebrated inventors who transform their groundbreaking ideas into tangible progress, economic growth, and enhancements to our everyday lives.

For VOK DAMS, being part of this significant event is a long-standing tradition. Since 2007, our Munich team has supported the production of the award ceremony in various European cities, including Munich, Ljubljana, Prague, Budapest, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisbon, Venice, Paris, Madrid, Vienna and Valencia. In 2024, Malta joined the ranks of esteemed hosts for this celebrated event, which recognizes outstanding innovations.

The 2024 ceremony, streamed live from the stunning city of Valetta, Malta, captivated audiences as hosts Filomena Cautela and Jacob Beautemps guided us through the inspiring stories of the Tomorrow Shapers.

With the upcoming Young Inventors Prize set to launch its own dedicated ceremony in Iceland in 2025, the spirit of innovation continues to grow. We're already looking forward to next year!

Last week, we celebrated two decades of VOK DAMS in China with an incredible gathering in Shanghai! The event kicked off with a warm welcome dinner featuring delicious Sichuan cuisine, allowing our global team to immerse themselves in Chinese culture. Our experience featured an engaging office tour, dynamic strategic meetings, and fun team-building activities that sparked creativity and fostered collaboration. The evening featured a festive celebration with a catered dinner, live music, and karaoke, followed by an energetic afterparty that transformed our office into a vibrant dance floor! 🎉

As we reflect on our journey, we are proud of how VOK DAMS China has evolved into a key player in the Asian live marketing landscape since opening our Beijing office in 2004. What started as support for German corporations has grown into a diverse hub for innovative event solutions across various industries. 𝗩𝗢𝗞 𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗫 𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗔 @ 𝗖𝗜𝗜𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 VOK DAMS China came back with PUMA to the 7th CIIE, the world's first import-themed national-level expo held for 6 days in Shanghai. Our team designed a booth of 216 sqm size (9m x 24m), featuring key themes based around PUMA's philantrophic program, eco-friendly commitment & racing culture. The booth focuses on 4 design language elements: ▪️𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿: Representing PUMA's values and spirit of circularity ▪️“𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲” 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿: A central feature that showcases the three themes of PUMA 2024 CIIE, and serves as the focal point dictating the entire booth layout ▪️𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀: A design choice to soften the overall aesthetic, harmonising with the circular theme and avoiding overly sharp edges ▪️𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: Predominantly uses PUMA's colors – red, black, grey and white – and introducing sublte colours in different areas to represent distinct themes A series of events were held inside the booth to keep guests engaged and entertained: ▪️𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆: Showcasing the connection between PUMA & CIIE, Tradition & Innovation, and PUMA Family 2024 Olympic Performance ▪️𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆: Showcasing PUMA's engagement in philantrophy to empower communities, care about education, and foster social responsibility ▪️𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀: Inspired by RE:FIBRE Program from PUMA New York Flagship Store, aiming to promote PUMA's eco-friendly spirit by crafting recycled paper into badges ▪️𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿: Highlighting PUMA's racing culture, aiming to cre

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of DIGITAL X in Cologne, Europe's leading cross-industry digitalization initiative, powered by Deutsche Telekom AG and an impressive lineup of partners. 🚀 This event was nothing short of extraordinary, delivering on a grand scale with 50,000+ B2B guests, 1,200+ event and support staff, over 100 diverse venues, and an impressive 220+ masterclasses, stages, and 250+ thought-leading speakers. The event's theme, Ready for Impact, resonated across every touchpoint, creating an engaging and immersive experience for attendees, and showcasing the future of digital transformation. The journey began eight months ago with a shared vision and deep collaboration with a client that truly understands the transformative potential of live experiences. Together, we set out to create something unique, and the result exceeded all expectations.
