Danish band Abekejser blends fierce hip-hop beats with epic synth harmonies, spiced up with
breathtaking melodies that solidify in your mind. Words are unnecessary when Abekejser invites
you into their spacious, unique universe, where you can both dance and lose yourself in a
musical dream.

◈ The sound of the quintet Abekejser functions like an eclectic playlist for young digital
natives—genre boundaries are irrelevant as long as the ingredients are fun. Heavy hip-hop
beats meet gnarly synth sounds, reverb-drenched rock guitars, and room-filling bass. The result
is a highly danceable cocktail of Jazztronica and Neo-Soul, with catchy melodies and hooks

X-mas market - Workshop

Design and Make your own Ring.
Join a fun and hands-on 1.5-hour session to design and carve your own personalised ring!

Workshop 1: kl 11-12.30
Workshop 2: kl 14-15.30
(Max 4 people pr. Workshop)

In this introductory wax carving workshop, you’ll focus on the creative part—carving your design—while I take care of the technical process. After the session, your wax ring can be transformed into solid sterling silver using the ancient art of ‘lost wax casting,’ polished and ready to wear within a couple of weeks.

Fun and creative!
The cost is 150 DKK to participate in the workshop, plus an additional fee for materials if you choose to have your design cast in silver.

Cute little story from Finn 🫠
Hi!

A couple of months I was visit Aarhus for a weekend and lost my accomodation key while out.

After backtracking my steps, I ended up back at Institut For X, where to my relief my key had been found.

I took this photo, and the bartender told me I should send it over when I get it developed.

A nice memory with a happy ending.
