On a wedding day, the happiness and excitement of the people involved is contagious. Just look at the groom's mother who couldn't contain her joy and had to jump down the aisle. Isn’t she sweet?! It was an incredible moment and I love when moms, dads or even friends show pure infectious joy.

These are my favourite moments to capture at weddings. Being in the right place at the right time is not just luck, it's about having experience and knowing what to look for. This is why it's so important to have an experienced photographer to document your special day.

A skilled photographer will not only capture the traditional shots, but also the candid moments that truly reflect the emotions of the day. They capture moments the bride and groom after miss out on.

But these are the shots you look at over and over again when thumbing through the wedding album.

Here is the ugly truth: I am having a bit of writer's block. 🤫 It happens to the best of us, but I not going to let that get me down!

I constantly think about Instagram, and how I can provide value to my followers.

So I'm turning to you for suggestions on what you'd like to see from me. Would you like more behind-the-scenes content that shows the creative process behind my work?
Perhaps some wedding advice that could help you plan your own special day? Maybe you're interested in learning how to dress for a family photo session? Whatever it may be, I'm open to suggestions.

How can it be possible? It is mid June and summer vacation is right around the corner!

Regardless of how you choose to spend your summer vacation, it's important to make the most of the time you have. Whether it's indulging in your favorite hobbies, trying out new activities, or simply taking the time to relax and recharge, summer is a time to embrace the moment and savor every minute. (Especially when you live in Denmark with the long dark winters!)

Me? I like to soak up the warmth and sunshine, (like a lizard sunbathing on a rocks. ) I try to remember to appreciate the simple pleasures of the season, from picnics in the park to lazy afternoons spent reading a good book. (And you cant forget the fresh lemonaide!)

While it may seem like the summer is slipping away too quickly, I want to help you make the most of the time we have and create memories that will last a lifetime.

I have to more open times in June but I more availability in August and September.

And if you haven't made any plans yet, don't worry - there's still plenty of time to make the most of this season.

If I could grant you one wish on your wedding day what would it be? 🧚‍♀

For many couples, the perfect day would involve no rain. 🌧 For others, it might be the perfect party with all their closest friends and family. For some, it may be amazingly stylish shoes that look and feel good all day. 👠

But for all couples, the most important wish is to create a day that reflects who they are and what they mean to each other. To make a day that is special in its entirety, the couple should focus on the elements that mean the most to them. Whether it be a unique venue, meaningful music, or personalized vows, a wedding is more than just a party. It is the start of a new life together. 💍

So. . . if I could grant you one wish on your wedding day, I hope it would be that you are surrounded with love and that each moment of the day is a cherished memory for years to come. 🍀

Colors of summer. ♥️ if you were a color what would it be?

These are my two favourite colors. White and green. But not gassy garish golf course grass green. No the light and frothy green of spring.

You can see these colors consistently in my editing because I like my greens to be consistant and elegant, but still look green.

Sometimes photographers over/under saturate greens. That’s totally fine for their vision and style. But me? I like to fine tune my greens—true to life with a flare of romance.

My dad is forever telling dad jokes and puns. They make me groan and roll my eyes, but secretly I love them.

Dad jokes bring a unique flavor to any special occasion; their ability to lighten the mood, no matter how solemn the event is, is unmatched.

Weddings are no exception. There is always a moment during the speeches where the dad pulls out a stunner. I can't help but laugh every time. (Sometimes not so quietly from behind the camera.)

The groans from the guests and the smiles from the bride and groom are always priceless. Dad jokes can make a serious event lighthearted and remind us to take life a bit less seriously.

So the next time you hear a dad joke at a wedding, don't groan. Instead, take a minute to appreciate the humor and lightheartedness that dad jokes bring to the table. No matter how silly they might seem, dad jokes have an important role to play and I'm grateful my dad is always there to provide them.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 I stand with the LGBTQI+ community and support the right to love who you love! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

June marks a special month of celebration for the community, but I want you to know that I celebrate you every single day of the year.

Love is a powerful force, and I believe that all people deserve to live a life of love and acceptance.

Love should be uplifted and celebrated, not suppressed or judged. I believe that LGBTQI+ rights are human rights and I will continue to fight for them.

What do you dream about? 🤔I dream of fields of flowers stretching out as far as I can see, nodding gracefully in the breeze. 🌬️

When I look at the flowers, I feel the joy and happiness radiating from their petals. It's a tiny reminder that life is beautiful, and that dreams really do come true. 🤍

Yes, I dream about flowers in all their colors, forms and sizes. Most of all, I dream of being surrounded by the beauty of nature, and feeling the serenity of the world around me.

This is a central theme in my photography—trying to capture how people and nature relate to each other.

Or I could just be a huge flower nerd. (I am,just ask my husband.)

Confession: I am drowning in over-stylized wedding photography. 🧟‍♀ Let me explain. I spend a lot of time on IG looking at wedding, engagement and family photography.

Unfortunately I find I make ugly comparisons of myself to other photographers. We all do it. We tell ourselves this person has the perfect styled life, just look at their instagram!

Truth is, I am a very simple photographer. I don’t like to overcomplicate things. Colors should look natural, and true to life. It would be sad to regret your wedding photos in 20 years because the photographer used a brown filter and you look orange.

But there is always that nagging IG voice, maybe I should change my style to fit what is popular right now.

Then I get a call from a couple who want to book me for their wedding. (For real, this happened last week.) 🥰

This couple said that they have looked at several photographers and said that they choose me because I capture the emotion, faces in the crowd, and all the beauty of the day in a simple, unpretentious way.

Be still my heart! 🧡🧡🧡

I believe that our experience of time transforms when we step outside our everyday lives. A wedding, a momentous day in our life, is a day of joy, tears, beauty and raw emotions. These, condensed down into a few photographs, can rewrite our memories over time.

The ideas connection, presence and beauty are at the heart of every story I tell. They are intwined with how we see the world, and how we relate to each other.

I am so happy I have clients that remind me of this when they book.

I cried when you were born. I blinked and you are all grown up.

I can’t believe how time flies as a mom. It seems like she just was born. But I’m a few days we say farvel to børnehave and hello to school.

I am excited for her to spread her wings and experience new things. At the same time I want to keep her close. Stop time just for a while so we can have a few more moments together before she decides I am totally lame. ☺️

Even as a photographer and mom I haven’t been super good to take real photos of her every year. (Not just iPhone. ) But it’s on the list before it is too late.

Sometimes I have to admit when I need a helping hand.

You see I took my daughter out to see the norther lights on Monday. When I got home, tired, cold and in the dark the trunk of my car locked down on my two fingers. I was stuck, now wide awake and cursing loudly. I managed to open the door and get my sleeping kid inside and up to bed before loosing my sh*% #!

It hurts. But luckily nothing is broken. So if I am slow to respond it’s because everything takes longer now with one hand. So yes, here I am practicing patience and how to ask for help. (Something I hate, but should do way more often. )

So go on, and tell me something funny. (Inspiring or other positive stories are also appreciated. )

Is it only me who can’t wait for summer??

These winter days right before spring are a doozy.

On a summer evening walk, I feel compelled to create like none other. There’s that moment where the sun hasn’t quite dipped below the horizon yet, but it’s about to. You can still feel the warmth on your skin, but you know in about twenty minutes it’s going to get a little chilly (but nothing that a thick sweater can’t solve).

Every season offers inspiration, but summer moves me in a way that can’t be matched.

I love the way the golden sunshine highlights all of the little particles hanging in the air, whether it be insects, cotton fuzzies floating off the trees, or whatever else is circling in the breeze.

I feel inspired by the shadows of the trees growing longer by the minute. My daughter playing in barefeet in the garden. Long days, colorful produce, and abundance around every corner.

Have you noticed the days are growing longer again? I have and can't wait. So here is a photo from warmer, sunnier times.

It's Valentine's Day tomorrow! While it is not as big of a deal in Europe as it is in the USA, I still like to give or make a little something, for my husband.

In our house it isn't a day to do an obligitory gift. (We have mothers and fathers day for that.) 🤣

But just a little something that allows us to pause and say, I love you without setting too many expectations on.

Can you wear sneakers at your wedding❓🤷

Sure, why not? Slippers, sneakers, flip flops, rain boots. 🥿🥾 Bring shoes you look amazing in, and then bring those you FEEL amazing in. 👏👏

I recommend all my brides bring an extra pair of shoes for the portrait session, because we will go off road and walk in grass, cobblestones, climb hills or walk across rocky beaches.

(Unless you get married in the Caribbean, then who needs shoes at all?) 🌴🏖🌴

Having comfortable footwear means we get around quickly and you save your feet/ankles by not walking in stilettos on uneven terrain.

It also means your next level amazeball shoes like these won’t get covered in mud, or animal p**p. (If you have been to Dyrehaven, then you know its a mine field of deer droppings .🦌🤣

Safe to say I'm a sucker for Jimmy Choo shoes, so I get deliriously happy when I see them on my brides. 🤍🤍🤍🤍
