Sean nós step dancing and Irish set dancing is very popular in Ireland and here in Copenhagen we have our very own Copenhagen Irish Set Dancers.

Come and see them perform on St. Patrick's Day @ Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade on stage on Rådhuspladsen on the 17th of March between 15.30 and 17.00 - HUP!

A shout out on International Women's Day 8th of March:

Award-winning Irish director, Ciarán Cassidy’s feature
documentary, ‘HOUSEWIFE OF THE YEAR’ will have its
world premiere at 21.30 on Friday, 15th March at Dagmar
Teatret as part of CPH:DOX. This fascinating, funny and
poignant documentary tells the story of Ireland’s treatment of
women through the prism of a unique, surreal, live televised
competition. There will be a drinks reception beforehand and

Kom og mød spillerne fra Copenhagen GAA og Viking Gaels på Rådhuspladsen d. 17. marts. Det er klubber for Gæliske sportsdiscipliner som fodbold, hurling og camogie. De laver lidt demo på pladsen fra kl. 14.00 hvor du også kan få en snak med klubben og deltager i paraden kl. 17.00.

St. Patrick 2005 -20xx
St. Patrick plays a very special role at the Copenhagen St. Patrick’s Day Parade by some very special people. They have in turn hosted the show on Rådhuspladsen, lead the Parade through town and made St. Patrick a welcoming and popular mascot with small and big audiences. ☘️

We give a hearty and devoted thanks to Tom McEwan, Kevin Horan and Ian Burns. 🙏❤️

Now we are so excited to introduce Australian-Irish actor Kevin Kiernan-Molloy who will be taking over the bishops staff in 2024. Please give Kevin a warm welcome☘️

We are really excited about welcoming and presenting our St. Patrick 2024: Kevin Kiernan-Molloy

Kevin is Australian and lives in Denmark (with three of his grandparents being Irish). He graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2010 and has henceforth worked as an actor. Kevin also teaches communication skills for public speaking, check out his new companies website resonatecph.com

Kevin's theatre credits in Copenhagen include, "Much Ado About Nothing"and “A Midsummer Nights Dream” (After Hours Theatre), “Mairead” and “The Art of Falling” (Why Not Theatre) and “No Exit: Reloaded”- (HIT), He has performed in the last four "Crazy Christmas Cabarets" (London Toast). Some of his TV appearances include "World on Fire season 2", “Neighbours”, “Home and Away”, and “Wentworth”. His film credits include "Silver", “What if it works?”, “Holding the Man” and “Pinball”.

Det er også næsten årsdagen for den danske Corona –nedlukning. Og desværre kan vi stadig ikke mødes på Rådhuspladsen og fejre dagen med en grønt optog.

Vi er desværre nødt til at aflyse Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade på tirsdag. Det er ikke længere anbefalet at holde arrangementer.
Tusind tak for jeres tilmelding og opbakning til arrangementet. Vi glæder os til at se jer alle til 17. marts 2021.

Kære alle. Vi er opmærksomme på de nye anbefalinger for arrangementer vedrørende Corona /Covid-19 smitterisiko. Vi er et arrangement der regner med at ligge under de 1000 deltagere, men er selvfølgelig bekymrede for situationen. Som det ser ud lige nu, kan vi gennemføre arrangementet, men har brug for jeres hjælp til at overholde de forholdsregler myndighederne anbefaler så vi alle kan føle os mere trygge. Vi opfordrer samtidig til at man opholder sig mest udendørs på pladsen.
