Kan du ikke få nok irsk musik?
Allerede på torsdag d. 20. Marts giver Tim Edey koncert med irsk musik i Copenhagen Folk Club. ☘️

Engelsk/irske Tim Edey er ekstremt alsidig og monster-virtuos på guitar og harmonika. Musikken spænder vidt - ofte med keltisk tema.  En af hans albumtitler er ”I Got Rhythm”. Yes, mon ikke!

Happy St. Partick’s Day! ☘️☘️☘️

Thanks so much to all of you who made it for the Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade 2025!

We had an incredible day dancing, drinking The White Hag Irish Brewing Co. and Teeling Whiskey and green beers, singing songs and enjoying some fabulous Irish music - and of course, marching through the beautiful streets of Copenhagen in green!

A special thanks to “St Patrick” Kevin Kiernan-Molloy, the band The Early House, Dark Green School of Irish Dancing, Gordon Pipes and Drums, the Viking Gaels Hurling and Copenhagen GAA, Copenhagen Irish Set Dancers, the wolfhounds from Pax Pardini & Eikica and the province flag carriers, providing the entertainment and energy.

Thanks also to Ambassador Elizabeth Mc Cullough from the Embassy of Ireland in Denmark as our keynote speaker and for leading the parade with St. Patrick. Also to the support from Tourism Ireland and The Shamrock Inn.

And the biggest thanks of all to Marianne Elina Green for her unbelievable dedication and energy in organising these iconic events every year for the last 20 years.

Good luck to the board of Irish Culture Association Denmark in filling Marianne’s shoes over the next years - no pressure!

Glædelig St. Particks dag! ☘️☘️☘️

Tusind tak til alle jer, der gjorde det til Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Vi havde en fantastisk dag med dans, drukket “White Hag”, “Teelings Whiskey” og grønne øl, sunget og lyttet til noget fabelagtig irsk musik - og selvfølgelig marcheret gennem Københavns smukke gader i grønne hatte!

En særlig tak til bandet, danserne, piping bandet, Viking GAA, ulvehundene og provinsens flagbærere.

Tak også til ambassadør Elizabeth Mc Cullough fra den irske ambassade i Danmark som vores hovedtaler og for at lede paraden med St. Patrick.

Og den største tak af alle til "Marianne Green" for hendes utrolige dedikation og energi i at organisere disse ikon isle begivenheder hvert år i de sidste 20 år.

Held og lykke til bestyrelsen for ICAD med at fylde Mariannes sko i de næste år - intet pres!
