Thank you for your interest in Afro Block Party! We can’t wait to celebrate our favourite aspects of African cultures 🥳
Some have asked about our event and we would like to give a small introduction of our concept.
Afro Block Party is a cultural event in Copenhagen, which aim to celebrate cultures of Sub-Saharan Africa through music, entertainment and food. By drawing attention towards diverse cultures in Copenhagen, our goal is to give our visitors a little taste of Sub Saharan Africa. We therefore look forward to introduce everything from music, dinning experiences, arts and performances.
We would like people to understand that Afro Block Party is NOT be seen as events like Distortion. We aim to create a safe space for all participants and neighbours to enjoy and therefore we would like people to respect and celebrate in a common manner.
Due to COVID-19, we recommend you to use our pre-order food/drink ticket. This is to avoid large queues during the event since we are following the recommended guidelines from the Danish Health Authorities.
